  1. Food 🤔. Disclaimer : food is subjective. My opinion only.

I will say the WJ food is mediocre. The MDR has been hit or miss, more on the miss side. Our table mates are amazing so the overall MDR experience has been great.

There is NO horseradish onboard. I am told there is a shortage (there’s none) fleet wide. So, if you enjoy prime rib or the roast beef sandwich at Park Cafe, don’t expect to find any horseradish. The same goes for shrimp cocktail sauce, it’s now ketchup with wasabi mixed in lol 😂.

So far we have not been to any specialty restaurants, mainly because we really enjoy our MDR table mates. That being said, I plan to order a Chops steak tonight to go with my lobster 🤗

    Just made the request. 🙂

I asked this a few pages back and someone other then you answered.

How does the outside seating area in front of the Solarium seem to you? Chairs gone quickly? Does that area open later then other outside places?

Apologies as I missed your question. I don’t ever sit in the Solarium on this class of ship so I’m actually the wrong person to ask!

What did you do in San Juan today? For that matter, what did you do in St. Maaten yesterday?

I'll ask later what you are planning for Labadee tomorrow.

We had a wonderful day ashore on St. Maarten. We spent the day at Holland House on the beach, and enjoyed picture perfect weather and calm seas.
Tomorrow at Labadee we Will head over to Columbus Cove - there’s a lounger and a floating mat with my name on It 😉

Were you able to sit there? Did anyone ask to see your seapass?

I should have updated my response....

Those reserved signs were placed there by the Genie. There is still one row we saw on the way out of the theatre that is for suites and Pinnacles. When I asked the CD staff person, they stated that if the seats were empty 5 minutes before showtime they would open up to all passengers. So the answer is still no - D+ cannot sit in those seats on this ship.

We are on the Oasis April 5,2020 cruise and have been unable to book entertainment.  No one posting on our roll call has been able to.  April 12th roll call have not been able to either.  There was a post o the April 12th roll call that there was a conflict in scheduling.  Have you had any problems with entertainment on your cruise or heard of future problems?

I’m sorry, I missed your question!

No issues, we booked everything a few months ago. The app is working just fine here as well, I’ve been chatting to some people who booked everything once they were onboard.

Wow the ocean looks perfect. We are on Harmony going Western and missed Costa Maya today due to high winds

lots of white caps and the ship is a rockin

    hope we make Roatan tomorrow

We were rocking a lot for the last 24hrs, the Captain announced he would be sailing an alternate route to St. Maarten but we were still “bouncing around” as he put it 😀

Today the ocean around us is perfection. Did I mention how much I love this island??

Its not the cruise you need to worry about.  All those thousands of people in the air

port. Or in flight breathing that TOXIC recirculated air for hours on end. That where those virus  hide.  And the CDC is not really sure how long a COVID virus can live on hard surfaces.  So basically,  you may be exposed to it already.  However,  it Covid can incubate for up to 16 days before symptoms come out.

    Enjoy...

So wear an N95 on the plane if it worries you 😉

We boarded the allure on 2/23 and we were only asked if we felt sick at all.  We had received an email from Rccl alerting us of potential screenings due to the virus so I fully expected delays in getting on board.  Didn’t happen got on board in a timely fashion. No talk of corona virus. A little surprising.

No talk of it on Oasis either. I’m glad. I know what’s going on, I don’t want or need constant reminding...

@ckrobyn Hi. Hope you are enjoying the Oasis  my Granddaughter and I sail the March 15th itinerary.  My son is nervous about my Granddaughter getting sick onboard and wondering what precautions RC has implemented upon embarkation such as health screening? Are they taking temperatures prior to boarding?  Appreciate any info provided.

I didn’t see anyone taking temperatures at Port Miami. We were asked about 6 health questions and that was about it. I totally understand the concern, and there is no way to really reassure your son, other than to tell him no one wants to get sick so everyone is being extra careful and diligent with hand washing. There is zero talk of CV onboard that I’ve heard, and everyone is simply enjoying their cruise.
