  1. I'll be following along. Like going out of NO, but never been on the Breakaway. Enjoy your cruise!
  2. We have stayed at the Crowne Plaza multiple times. Have not had any issues.
  3. We are going to be doing a FWD balcony on our Alaska cruise. Can't wait! Enjoy your cruise.
  4. You could probably call NCL as well and have them add it. Maybe they would be able to tell you what time you would need to be back to the airport to catch the shuttle. Worth a try anyway.
  5. Quick question. The deck plans say that the Humidor Cigar Lounge is on deck 7, however, it isn't listed on the actual deck plans. Can you confirm if there is actual one onboard and if it is on deck 7? It's usually near the Whiskey Bar, but that is showing on deck 8, and the Humidor is showing there either. If not, no worries. TIA
  6. I always love reading your posts and reviews. Thank you very much for the detailed and honest comparisons. I love NCL and have always been hesitant to try the other lines because of the dress code (we really are not dress up kind of people) and them not having the "Freestyle" cruising, but might have to take a look and see. Thanks again and glad that you enjoyed your cruise!!
  7. Just checked mine and it is showing on my summary again.
  8. It's not showing up for me online either, but I just made a payment for our May cruise and it is still showing on the confirmation I received. I had been trying to book an excursion, but would like to wait until the issue is resolved because it wasn't giving me the discount for the 2nd person like it has in the past.
  9. It is included in the Premium+ package. Hit it myself a few times myself on our cruise in March.
  10. I believe they only send them out for Haven/Suite guests now. I have seen posted that some not in Haven/Suites have received them, but I think that is far and few between. But like Bird said, you can print them from your EDocs. Enjoy your cruise!!
  11. When we did our B2B Mexican Riviera on the Bliss, the 2nd leg the Vibe was chartered for the whole week. I know that it is not a public place, but we had paid for it then they cancelled it before our cruise left. We were pretty bummed as the ship was full and we had had a blast in the Vibe the first leg. With that being said, I've seen more and more comments on spaces being closed for groups on more and more cruises. Goes with the territory I guess.
  12. We are booked for May 2024 on the Jewel, and we were supposed to go to Icy Strait, however, the cancelled that and we are doing Glacier Bay instead. I haven't done either one, so I don't know if that is a good thing or a bad thing. I was surprised that they made the change so far out though.
  13. @YVRteacher have you met up with Victor in Moderno's for breakfast or Cagney's? If you see him tell him Mike & Kim said hi. He will be going home for a few months on the 22nd. Then is supposed to go to the Breakaway when he returns. He was a fantastic waiter!
  14. I think on the bigger ships that have a Haven proper then the Haven is worth it. On the smaller ships without the Haven proper, we sail in the regular Suites, not the Haven suites. As said above, you get the same benefits but without being able to go into the "Haven" which does not have a bar and restaurant, so for us, on the smaller ships it isn't worth it. Keep in mind also, that on some smaller ships they have a Club Balcony Suite which is not really a suite and you don't get any of the benefits of the butler and breakfast/Lunch designated restaurants.
  15. Here is their website for more info: https://www.nps.gov/dena/planyourvisit/conditions.htm
  16. I think they are pretty much the same at all the restaurants.
  17. I read the title of your post and my mouth dropped open... LOL.. Definitely got my attention, and your post was very well written. You'll have to post on this board when you do your review on your new cruise. Would love to read it.
  18. I'm so excited for you because it's cruise day!! Love reading your reviews. We will be doing the Vancouver to Seward cruise in May 2024. I love the Jewel. If you eat in Moderno for breakfast or Cagneys for Lunch, please pass on a big hello to Victor Cordoza from Mike & Kim. He is one of the waiters and he was fantastic when we cruised on the Panama Canal cruise in March.
  19. This is awesome. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
  20. I believe that they will only due a FCC if there are still cabins available in the category that you are booked. I'm sure someone will correct me if I am wrong, but that is what I have been told in the past.
