Many, many times. The ship is the destination for me, and I rarely leave it, in any port. I've sailed "Paradise" 14 times, out of Tampa, and it always goes to Cozumel, and on five day to Grand Cayman. No problem,,,,as I enjoy the ship when everybody else is ashore,,,,no matter where we are. LOL

Deck 11, aft. You can eat lunch there free on embarkation day, and that's an excellent time to go, because very few people know it's there, so there is no crowd. Good food, excellent service, and something totally different than the normal Lido deck lunch.

I'll be sailing "Paradise" April 28th, 2018. Come on along! I think I saw that you were sailing the voyage before mine. If so,,,,I'll say HELLO, and wave to you from the gangplank. LOL

Yep, the BBQ was open on embarkation day, aboard "Magic", along with the Italian joint. That's the time to go if you want to experience either of these places, without the CROWD! As noted, most people don't even know these two restaurants exist, and there is no line, or crowd. EXCELLENT food at both.

I too, saw "Happy" aboard "Magic" earlier this year.

If you're talking about Port Canaveral, and I think that's what I read, there is a parking service named "Park N Cruise", that is truly excellent, and about 1/2 the price of parking at the port. I've used their service many, many times, and never had a problem. Their shuttle service is well run, and you usually have the choice of "self parking", or letting them park your vehicle, and have it ready for you, at the spot where the shuttle drops you, upon return. Easy to find, and close to the port.

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that I saw that "Paradise" WAS getting "Cherry On Top" during the dry dock.

I think there are some cancellations of excursions from Cozumel to the mainland, if you had any of those excursions booked. Also, as noted, there sometimes are changes in check-in time, or if you're really lucky, they are probably contacting you to tell you that they are upgrading your inside cabin to the Grand Suite. (Well, we can dream can't we?)

I too, sailed "Magic" recently, and would advise you to take a sweater, or sweat shirt as the ship is VERY cool most of the time. Also, if you attend the BIG shows, you might want to consider taking along some ear plugs, as the volume of the music is very LOUD. Karaoke was lots of fun, as well as the comics. Great cruise overall.

Just off "Paradise" two weeks ago, and no, no hair dryer in the cabin. I asked to borrow one from the cabin steward, and it was delivered quickly, and worked just fine. No problem. I was told that after dry dock, there would be dryers in the cabin, but if not, I wouldn't worry about it. Just borrow one from the steward.

Got mine about two weeks out. It's been my experience, that the later it's assigned, the better the chance of an upgrade. I know it's MADDENING to wait for the assignment, but it may well pay off in the end. ;p

I don't care much, either way, but as a stock holder I kind of think that it might be a waste of money. In any case, he's GOT to be better than George Lopez! :')

The smallest Diamond party I ever attended, and it used to happen fairly often, was ONE. Yep, just me! It's been 5 years or so ago, but it wasn't unusual at all on the smaller ships, back then. GREAT fun, with meeting on the bridge as the norm.

As long as the bookings are all "LINKED", you should have no problem with sitting with, or at least near each other. Make sure that you're all asking for the same sitting as well! (Early, or Late) Once again, the main thing is to have your travel agent to link all of the bookings.

Just book a 4A GTY, and that will eliminate the possibility of being assigned an "upper/lower" cabin. I've booked GTY several times, and am rarely disappointed with the assignment. I've also found that the longer it takes, (the closer to sailing date) to assign the cabin, the better the chance of getting a really nice upgrade. Best I ever got, was from a bought, and paid for 4A inside, to an assigned suite! WOW, that was nice, and was assigned to me at the pier, when checking in! ;)

I've been using "Park-n-Cruise" for several years now, and never a problem. Good service, convenient location, and outstanding prices. What more could you ask for?

I too, enjoy the serenity of the serenity deck, the empty hot tubs, and selecting any lounger I want. I also enjoy talking with the crew, and staff, and entertainers who you'll see around the ship on port days, when everyone else is ashore. GREAT FUN.

Spirit Class ships are my favorites, and even though I haven't sailed "Miracle" in a few years, I'd choose her over most any other ship, not in the Spirit Class, in a heartbeat.

For me, the PRIDE is the winner. Much easier to get to the port. Much better cabin/sleeping arrangements, and smaller, less crowded ship. It's a no brainer IMO.

You could always put a "fake" name down, and have them be a "no-show"...you will pay for 2 whether there is a 2nd person or not....

TRUE, and you'll also have to pay double the port charges/taxes, but if there is a "no show" you'll be refunded that money, (ie ,the port charges/taxes), for the "no show" to your on board account. You'll still be paying the basic fare for two people.
