We will be in St. Thomas Nov 25th from 11am to 7pm (or 12 - 8 local time). My sone wants to do the Helmet Dive at Coral World and then spend time swimming at Coki beach. The Carnival excursion is only 3 1/2 hours so i'm thinking thats not enough time. Does anyone know if we take a taxi to Coral World can we book the Helmet Dive on site or do we need to book in advance?

Thanks, I was able to get another $500. When I looked this morning they didnt have any.

We always take way more than that and have always felt comfortable leaving it in the safe and taking out what we need daily.

I was put on the "waitlist" but still checked multiple times a day. I managed to snag one just by looking and I never got an email about my waitlist.

Home Depot had some for $1.

We prefer YTD and on our upcoming trip we were waitlisted. I checked several times a day and sure enough it became available for a short time and I was able to confirm. Be persistent with checking on line.

I was on the Valor in August and loved it. Cleaning staff never woke us and we didn't go near the casino so no problem there.

I checked multiple times a day for my November 22 trip and it showed up around 7am EDT so I snapped it up. 30 min later it was gone so check often. The same goes for dinner times. I was wait listed for ATD and it became available so I grabbed it.

I brought a small battery operated fan with me that kept me comfortable

We sailed last Nov on the Liberty and I thought the cabin was a little to warm. We just sailed on the Valor in early August and the cabin was comfortable.

We did not get it on or last 2 cruises (5 day and 7 day) and I am glad we didn't. Even with my underage son buying the non alcohlic drinks and us getting the wine package with dinner we didn't spend $400 on drinks.

I apply mine using the kiosk at the begining of the trip so I dont forget or lose the gift card. The kiosk is very easy to use and faster than waiting on line at the desk.

I have received a check both times.

They were on the breeze 2 weeks ago as well

I booked 90 days out so I don't think it's to early or too late. When I called they said not to worry. Oh well, I guess we will hope for the best.

We just booked and when I went to select a dining time everything was waitlisted. How is that possible. Does this mean we can only eat at the buffet? Our preference is Anytime Dining as we like the flexibility.

 

Has this ever happened to anyone else?

We are booking on the Splendor for Nov 22. We have only a few choices for balcony cabins that accomodate 3 of us.

 

Deck 6 aft 6463 which is near the piano bar but not over it.

Deck 6 forward which is over the theater

Deck 7 fwd 7211. I know this only has cabins above and below but it is really far forward.

 

Any recomendations?

Thanks I was able to get 5 for my Nov trip.

We just got back from the Valor and it does have a waterslide. We were only 3 in a balcony room and felt we had enough room. We really enjoyed the Valor.

We are going on the Carnival Valor leaving August 8th and have already made arrangements to go to Little French Key. I think I recall others saying it can be hard to find your way out of the port to get a taxi. Is that true? If so can some share easy to follow directions.

We will be on the Valor August 8th. I was thinking of using the salon to get my hair done on the formal nights but I don't see hair as an on line spa option. Has anyone done this while on board or is this not an option? Thank you.

We are scheduled to be in Cozumel on August 10th and our plan is to do the Manatee Experience when we are at Chankanaab. I was going to pre buy our tickets but now I am wondering if I should wait until we arrive in case weather changes the order of our ports or our arrival time.

The ship doesn't offer the Manatee Experience so we must book on our own.

I was just doing our on line registration for our upcoming August 8th trip on the valor and see that my 9yo sons passport expires Oct 6, 2015. Are we going to have a problem traveling without 6 months remaining on his passport? I don't feel like we have enough time now to renew before the trip.

Do you know how much this is?
