  1. On our recent PNG cruise I drank frozen Pina Coladas during the day and switched to Baileys Raspberry Martinis at night. 🤤
  2. You would think so, but I found the update alone did not activate the changes. They did appear once I uninstalled and reinstalled. 😊
  3. For those who have done the Ultimate Ship Tour more recently, can you please tell me how it was offered? Was it available to book prior to the cruise or is it like the Chef's Table where you ask to be added to the waitlist once on board? Thank you. 😊
  4. Ah, the great chocolate cake and Diet Coke cover up of 2023. I look forward to further updates! 😉
  5. That's the chocolate mousse, not the chocolate cake. It was one of my favourite desserts on our recent cruise on Coral Princess! A simple mistake I imagine. 😊
  6. No, they give you one. It used to be branded but we were given a plain one on our most recent cruise.
  7. I'm in Australia and requested the shareholder benefit for two cruises this week. 1) 2 day cruise from Adelaide to Melbourne in November 2023 2) 14 day cruise round trip from Singapore in February 2024 This is the response I received: Thank you for contacting Princess Cruises. We have received your request to have your shareholder benefits applied. Upon checking the days out today of the booking is 353 days and the attached document, your shareholding dated February 2023. We do appreciate the documents you sent to us however, we were sorry to say but we can not add the shareholder benefits for now as we still need to wait for 90 days prior to sail date.
  8. We were on the same cruise and thought that the mask requirements were very reasonable and handled well on board. It certainly made us feel safer. It actually felt odd going to the airport after disembarking and seeing everyone walking around without masks! We also loved the handwashing stations at Horizon Court and the many sanitiser dispensers around the ship. The crew did a fantastic job making sure that everyone was washing hands before entering the buffet.
  9. Mask requirements on a cruise are not discriminatory. If you don't like the terms and conditions, don't book the cruise! We have just completed 11 days on the Coral Princess and the crew were definitely enforcing the mask requirement. Compliance was quite good overall. It was also pleasing to see hand washing enforced at the buffet, and plenty of sanitiser stations around the ship.
  10. Ship Coral Princess Class Coral Deck 10 Caribe Stateroom #C505 Category B1 Premium Balcony Port/Starboard/Bow/Stern Midship Starboard Connects With Cabin #Not applicable Accessible No Quiet Yes Balcony Size Large View Normal Privacy Issues None Wind No Soot No Problems None Comments This is an excellent cabin and we would book it again. Its midship location is very convenient to everything. It is close to the lifts and stairs but not close enough to experience the associated noise. This is one of the recessed cabins that sits next to the 'bumped out' cabins midship. This means that people on the bumped out balcony next door can see into this balcony, but we did not find this a problem. We could see the balconies below us and the balconies above us could also look down on us. We did not have any issues with any of this. The balcony is large and has a fantastic starboard view. It is also partially covered and was still useable even on rainy days. The cabin itself was very spacious by cruise ship standards and had more storage than we needed.
  11. We've just been on the Coral Princess and the sparkling water was Voss. San Pellegrino was listed as an option in the app but it was always substituted for Voss.
  12. When you order in the app, it shows you the cost of your order. If the items are included in your package the cost will be $0. If they are not included you will see how much you will be charged before submitting your order. The app allows some customisation for some items but you cannot add notes and requests.
  13. Get in touch with Caprice Cars Chauffeured Vehicles. They are an independent local business with a small fleet offering very personalised service. https://capricecars.com.au/
  14. Thanks so much everyone, you've all been very helpful! Now we just have to cross our fingers that we get selected to attend. 🙏
  15. Fantastic, thank you for the clarification. 😊
  16. That's fabulous, thanks so much for your help!
  17. My husband and I are heading off on an 11 night PNG cruise on Coral Princess later this month, our first cruise since 2019. We are so excited, especially since this is the sixth cruise we have booked in the last three years, but the first one not to be cancelled! We are planning to put our names down for the Chef's Table for the first time, and wondered if anyone could please confirm the dress code for this event? We don't usually pack formal wear but will if it's required for this. Thank you. 😊
