I know you can pay on board using the obc; a perfect example of why I would like to use the obc beforehand is recently they raised the tips from $16 to $18pppd. So if you pay beforehand to take advantage of the lower rate you are using real $$ or if you wait until you board to utilise the obc you are paying the higher rate…

The Wi-Fi may only be 90 mins but you don’t have to use it concurrently ( as you do with the 24hr access on RCI). Therefore you can log in and off, using about 10 mins a time and it lasts for several days this way.

I’ve just received cruise tickets and it says on the first page: YOU ARE BOOKED ON A RESTRICTED PRICE PROGRAM. Qualifying identification is required for boarding. Refer to the Travel Documents page for details. No idea what this is! And naturally there is nothing in the Travel Docs page! It is a cruise booked when onboard a cruise. Nothing special about it at all. Any ideas please as it’s a bit worrying! @Ourusualbeach I need your expertise!

Yeah! You are forced to prepay gratuities when booking MTD on UK bookings (rirespective of where the cruise may depart from) whereas this is not the case in the USA! You can get price drops in the USA whereas in the UK you have to cancel and rebook or just suck it up! Some insurance companies (apparently) do not cover you if you are not booked via UK agencies however I have never found that. LB - 13/14 future bookings made via USA

Thanks for the correction! I was sharing with 2 girlfriends once and I was nominated to use the pullman... I have never laughed so much trying to climb into it...admittedly after a few drinks... ended up pulling the mattress onto the floor!
