  1. That’s not looking too good for us then as we will be looking to get back from the island around 4:30pm and low tide will be around 6:30p thanks 🙏 .
  2. I never thought it was offered in USA ports because of the zero headcount requirement?
  3. What’s it like on our cruise please ? 20/3?
  4. I looked but couldn’t see any posts on the subject ( never thought of checking UK board … seems logical to me to put such info on the boards for the port 🤷‍♀️) As it all seems to be very recent and sudden - I have read on another site the RCI Guatemala have apparent said nothing is needed but I would prefer getting this in writing from the Consulate! Awaiting their reply
  5. IMPORTANT Visa requirements From 15 August, British nationals will require a visa to enter Honduras. Read information about requirements and how to apply for a Honduran visa (in Spanish) in London from the Honduran Embassy. If you are not in London, contact the nearest Embassy of Honduras for information and instructions on how to apply for a visa. You can also contact the National Institute of Migration (in Spanish). Usually you get a 30-day visit entry stamp in your passport when you arrive. You can apply at an immigration office to extend your stay. If you overstay, you may get a fine that you must pay before you leave Honduras. For information on how to extend your stay or pay a fine, contact the National Institute of Migration (in Spanish). https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice/honduras/entry-requirements
  6. Stay awhile was available in Southampton on Anthem last month.
  7. @lettrich any recommendations for a steak 🥩 dinner restaurants in Kobe please?
  8. She is currently docked at Ijmuiden Dear Guest, Before you head to the terminal for our August 10, 2024, sailing onboard Jewel of the Seas, we have some important information to share with you. Due to a port disruption that made it unsafe to pass the locks to Amsterdam, Jewel of the Seas will now debark its current sailing in IJmuiden. As a result, our check-in and boarding will be delayed. Please do not plan on arriving at the terminal until we reach back out to you with updated arrival times. We are committed to providing you with an update by 12:00 PM local time. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding. We look forward to welcoming you onboard Jewel of the Seas. Sincerely, Royal Caribbean International
  9. @villauk - looking forward to your thoughts and recommendations!! @Lunastella fabulous start! I’ve downloaded Suica and done a trial top up of Y1000. We also stay in Shinjuku so the lemon 🍋 drink place is now on the list in addition to the Albatross bar which appears in your photo! This trip is totally out of my comfort zone lol!!
  10. It’s not $238 for 2 - it works out at $289 for 2 including grats
  11. I was $0.12pp charge on my planner - I did buy it with OBC!
  12. She has RBar in the centrum on d5 She has Vintages on d6
  13. It’s pretty much the same menu rotation; so if menus not loaded yet for your sailing, in app click on head Upcoming cruises/ view All scroll down Don’t see your cruise; add it now Browse our ships select the same ship and this/next weeks sailing date select Dining
  14. Refundable/non refundable refers to the Deposit. So there is flexibility before final payment date. For a cruise this September you will already be into full and final payment date. The chances of them pulling a cruise 2 months out is virtually nil. Get insurance.
  15. She’s meant to leave Rome 3rd Nov arriving into Dubai 17 Nov, so she’ll be leaving very early if with passengers… What was Anthem’s “empty” cruise described as on the 24/25 pdf?
  16. How did you book via the USA RCI site? You have to put in a USA address. Perhaps you have one? Go to https://www.royalcaribbean.com/account/signin and create an account ; then add your booking ref # Also down load the RCI app from the App Store and log in using same credentials as ^^ . Here you’ll be able to see menus etc.
  17. Your travel agent would/should have asked you what dining time you wanted? There is either My Time Dining* where you can go to the main dining room when you want ( like turning up at a restaurant without a reservation so you may have a short wait) ; or there is an option to go at the same time/ same table/ same waiters every night ( which I personally find too restrictive). The dining time will be shown on your RCI invoice - 🧾- again if your TA has not sent this to you just ask them for it. *just in case you are from London as your tag implies, if you chose MTD then we in the UK are forced to prepay the gratuities to have this option if you have booked via a 🇬🇧 agent
  18. I got 150% on my transatlantics so this is a reduction on benefits? That’s not an Exciting Update in my book!!
  19. So long as ensure you book one on the sunny side of the ship you’ll use it a lot. eastbound - starboard westbound - port
  20. There aren’t any. You’ve missed the boat ( pun intended) on that one. Other cruise lines have not abandoned the Nordic/ Arctic itineraries.
