  1. But your seapass card which is your key to everything on board the ship clearly does not state MTD. It shows you on a set table at a set time which is traditional dining. Knowing that TA I wouldn't put it pass them to make errors. What did you GTB say? Guest ticket booklet.
  2. At $5 per point assuming you hit a run of back luck your potential outlay cost for “free” drinks is $4960… isn’t it cheaper to PAYG?!? 🤷‍♀️ I also don’t understand potentially laying down $12500 to get a “free” cruise?! Where do you draw the line and stop 🎰?
  3. 💯 % what they say ^^^^! This is not MTD. This is Traditional dining at 8.30 - same table same waiter every night.
  4. My friend is on Anthem today. Big blaring announcements in the WJ asking for 10s and the screen outside with subliminal messaging about 🔟…🔟…🔟
  5. My experience shows the card only ever shows the dining room deck, no table number for MTD. Ever. Same cruise.
  6. And there are no cabin numbers ending in 17. In Roman numerals 17 is XVII which is an anagram of VIXI which means I have lived or I am not living aka I am dead. Heptadecaphobia Is the fear of number 17
  7. On Oasis out of Spain….i suspect it’ll be on in multiple venues!
  8. 1 point per $1 ?!? On RCI it’s $5 per point.
  9. Same cruise, we had MTD. No times or table allocation on our cards.
  10. @MillbrookMom please can you share who you did car rental with and what the daily cost was?
  11. We booked 9.30 train which gets you back at 11.35 then the 12.00 bus. The bus stop is literally steps away from the train. The bus is 30 mins ride, 30 mins there then 30 mins back. Flåm is also the cheapest place to go shopping 🛍️ for those down coats. The shop on the other side of the train had the best deals. I bought a coat there that I saw in every other port for 50% off
  12. To receive your final statement: The “this form” link takes you to this page: https://www.royalcaribbean.com/resources/seapass-form
  13. Have done a few MSC and have another booked. plus: usually good priced fares, cheap drinks packages, freshly made mozzarella, stunning ships, no begging for a 10, their steak restaurant is far better than Chops, unobtrusive service, more relaxed, great coffee, great pizza, male dance hosts, varied music, innovative ships, no rush to get in and out of dinner, chocolate with coffee, canapés with drinks in the adult lounge, more interesting itineraries, flexible boarding options. negatives; on older ships sometimes a strange layout, like only one set of elevator’s goes down to the dining room, shows are adequate, sometimes they sell too cheap and you get some “cheap” cruisers. I have done YC and personally I didn’t really like it, I like the big ship vibe and the variety of bars. I did like the private dining room ( like CK) but I felt the service and quietness of the YC lounge was just too quiet for me.
  14. They don’t need to physically board the ship. Check in usually closes 90 mins prior to sailing time so al long as they leave them selves enough time to get back from Ravenna. Again why I suggested the RCI shuttle as they will leave the city in good time to bring passengers to the ship.
  15. Have never heard of this. I have often got off the ship after boarding in Barcelona. @npeters how are you arriving at the port? I see no reason why you cannot leave your luggage and then go back into town. Don’t board the ship. It is about 7 miles away though but well worth a visit. Alternatively why not go straight to Ravenna, store your luggage then catch the RCI shuttle to the port? https://www.turismo.ra.it/en/useful-services/luggage-storage/
  16. https://www.marconiexpress.it/en/information/the-service/ Don’t tell them your flight time has changed as in the past they have said they won’t transport you if you don’t fly in on the day. Just go back to the Arrivals hall by the scheduled time Otherwise take the train to Ravenna and RCI run a shuttle from Ravenna train station 🚉 to the ship for about $12pp. There are few taxis in Ravenna.
  17. Why not use the Stay Awhile option and get off the ship around 1?
  18. The doors are shut for a reason, to enable the crew to turn and prepare the cabins. Board at 1:30 and you’ll be able to go straight to your cabin. Problem solved.
  19. You can easily do Rome by yourself, or there are many recommended private tours - have you joined your roll call group ?
  20. Status means nothing with gtys. The new cruisers will be happy and potentially book again though?
