Coffee in Buffet on Discovery this past week was really good and so was the hot chocolate fresh from the dispenser! 😄

@Happiest when cruising It doesn’t say first 2 in cabin need to purchase but I attended a briefing yesterday for guests staying on board for B2B and asked and officer said that first 2 needed to purchase.

I am on Discovery and they are actively selling the coffee packages and they can be purchased in Ocean Concierge

@MsSoCalCruiser here are the various beverage package prices on Discovery Princess today: coffee package is $31 +18% gratuities classic soda package is $11.79 per day (including gratuities) Coffee and soda package is $23.59 per day ( including gratuities) Premier is $94.39 per day ( including gratuities) Plus is $70.79 per day (including gratuities ) Also in our stateroom there was information about upgrading to the full Plus package for $60 per day or full Premier for $80 per day. “Upgrade in the app or see any crew member”.

Just got to our stateroom and found this info showing Plus at $60 per day and Premier at $80. Sorry for the earlier beverage package post, I hadn’t seen this info yet!

You can buy various packages on the ship. The Plus Beverage Package on board is $60 per day plus 18% gratuity and it only includes beverages. here are the packages available: Premier Beverage Package is $79.99 + 18% = $94.39 per day Plus is $59.99+18%= $70.79 per day.

I have done Alaska several times. how good the internet is depends on where you are on the itinerary. I found texting to be generally fine, emails without attachments were ok but anything with an attachment or lots of graphics were slow to load. No way would Zoom have been reliable on any of my Alaska cruises.

On Discovery there are several tea choices at IC. Including: Mint, Jasmine Green tea, English Breakfast and Earl Grey

Yes you can. Many times Princess will have them as you exit the gangway, if not you can get them from the pool area.

Log on to Princess.com, click on booked guests and access Cruise Personalizer then select your cruise and in the upper right corner you will see luggage tags and Travel Summary your Travel Summary will indicate the various services ( in your case elements of the Premier package) associated with your booking.

I am on Discovery now and per the officers on board - starting tomorrow you will be able to upgrade to Plus or Premier the first two days of the cruise. The first 2 people in the cabin need to purchase the upgrade. It will be charged to your stateroom account so onboard credit can be used for the purchase. Purchase can be made at various bars through the ship.

I purchased mine before they vanished from the Personalizer and it starts on Saturday so mine should be 15 specialty coffees- the card is for my 7 day cruise segment that starts Saturday. I will report back if they try to make any changes to it. Or if they have anything posted advertising it for sale the first day .

Coffee, hot chocolate, tea, espresso and specialty coffee drinks are all included with Princess Plus,

For what it’s worth… I just went and spoke to the supervisor at the Passenger Services Desk. She said they have not been informed of any elimination of the coffee package. She said they are working on migrating it over to be available to purchase via the app and that may be why it is no longer showing in the Personalizer. She also was not aware of any changes planned to mini bar exchanges

There is no blanket policy change. Some fares offered are for new bookings only some are not.

I am on Discovery now and all the same trade options were still available when I boarded 2/20. I traded alcohol for soda. i will see if the Captain Circle Host has any info on coming changes.

@Cruise Raider is correct, you just need moved to a cabin that sleeps 4. To expedite the process you could go to princess website and do a mock booking for your sailing and see which cabins in your same category sleep 4. Then you can ask the Princess agent to move you to that cabin. Then they can add your husband and you can pay the increased deposit for him. Very easy!

I am doing a B2B, I will see what happens on the voyage that starts 2/27 and report back!
