I would pay $10 per day per cruise just to be able to sit and enjoy the sit down breakfast in Blu. I love to read for an hour and get served coffee in the morning.

Agree. I wish we could have stayed and did the Falls. Problem is, I will be having a knee replaced early February so gonna need to keep the walking tours to a minimum. We had to cancel our first leg of 13 day cruise from Chile since it was too soon to finish Therapy. I know crazy doing the B2B from Buenos to Liberty only after 8 weeks but there is just not ever a good time to make these things fit in. I say just get it done and enjoy life.

Does anybody know the current cost for a thermal suite on Eclipse. We’re going 7 days and would only buy 1 unless you need 2 for the cabin. We be in a CC room thanks

Same here on some carry on. We’re doing B2B and decided to chance flying on the 19th arriving on the 20th. Figured as long as we had our 2 Roll ons and backpack. We could pack the beach stuff and minimum dress cloths and we wouldn’t worry if the 1 large piece of luggage didnt make it on till the Rio on 27th port. Just didnt want to spend the nigh in Buenos Aires

Needing to clarify Will you be required to leave your smaller roll on luggage and just take your carry on bag or back pack on the bus only? We plan to have 1 large piece of luggage and 2 roll on. Thanks.

No we are doing a B2B 7 days from Buenos to Rio and then 14 days Rio to Liberty NJ. So it’s easy to get from the airport to the ship terminal. That’s great. Thanks for your help.

Hi. We will be flying to EZE airport in Argentina in the morning for an April 20 Cruise on Eclipse. ( same Day around 8:00 am and boarding starts at noon) Are cabs and transfers easy to get and is the boarding there well organized. Thanks for information.

😊. So many of us, as we have traveled with Celebrity, have gotten to enjoy so many great services but as things change it can cause issues. Tips certainly can be used both ways. Reward and a little bribery 😏. Thanks for your comment

I am not sure i have ever paid $20 for a glass of wine, at least that i can remember. However X has all the wine tasting tours on ship. Trying to train a martini drinker like me to enjoy the finer types of wine and then make it tougher to enjoy. Now a 25 year old scotch. That’s what I am talking about. 😎 I understand the fustration even though…

It works. For all types of cabins. Not sure on wine but better services ….oh yea. I know it’s not the norm we came to enjoy with Celebrity but…. Smaller cabin, Specialty Rest. Lots of upfront tips and yes its another experience

I agree Lena 11033. The only reason we book a Sky 1 or 2 is some of the perks like Luminae and the lounge. Even then we are trying a CC on Eclipse this spring for the first 7 days of a B2B followed by a CS for 14 days. Figured as nice as Luminae is for Breakfast everyday, ( must do thing in the morning for me since my better half sleeps in late ) being on deck 12, close to the pool was a better deal. At almost $1250 per day, will just eat at the specialty Rest. And get treated like kings. Also, tip the crap out of the room steward and believe me you’ll get all you want. I’ll have to share a story on another thread some day of how tipping lots can really make a difference. I know that can be a touchy subject but we can choose to throw our money around in an upper suite or everyday to the crew as we want and get just as much. Trust me… some friends we traveled with, did this and crazy the attention they got and they only cruised once with Celebrity.

Our last cruise on Infinity was still very nice. The new higher cost and cuts in tips had not caught up yet. Well we shall see how things work. We have a free 7 night cruise in January since turning Zenith. It’s in a magic carpet suite (we had to pay an extra $150/night to move up from a veranda ) to the lowest level suite. 60 days later were doing a 7 day on the Eclypse in a CC followed by 14 nights in a Sky 1 suite. Curious how service carry’s over from 1. Style cabin to the next. (Wasn’t gonna pay $1275 per night on the 7 day for a sky suite.). The CC cabin was almost 1/3 less. The 14 day was just under $1000 per night due to on board credit from ship and agent. Also still got the free tips that have now gone away. I will report back after the 1st cruise in January.
