  1. what’s your max price per night per cabin on a low end suite. It seemed that $500 per night was the going rate but now its pushing as high as $1000 per night per cabin. Thoughts ???
  2. Move up prices on Suites make little since unless you just gotta have one i look for Suite prices to start dropping later this year and next. Just way to many passengers with FCC to spend currently. Old prices were $500 t0 $600 per night for lower suite. Now they are over a $1000 per night. Ouch
  3. We were on for 23 days in December. Some cabins have been upgraded but I wouldn’t count on it. Public areas are nice you’ll enjoy
  4. We had 3 days 2 nights cancelled several years ago. We made the 2 day stop in Egypt but they cancelled Israel and sent us to Istanbul. So this October we are doing a 13 day land tour in October…or maybe not. You were required to buy the insurance. I guess i see why… We gotta do this some time. It’s big one on our bucket list. Again a lot could change in 5 to 6 months…hope hope hope🙏
  5. Not sure why anybody would choose Blu over Luminae other than for variety on a longer cruise.
  6. Wait a minute. It just occurred after rereading your questions. You’re getting married. Congrats. Balcony will be just fine. You got lots to do…. Plan a big diner in each of the speciality restaurants
  7. You know what’s crazy. I know several zenith members that only book ocean view or less cabins and are quite happy. Think about how much money you save $5 k min. Per cruise Take some of that money you saved and throw it around the ship in cash tips and see who gets the best service pool side and at the bars We always bring lots of $1 and $5’s and believe me they notice. How about the specialty restaurants. You by a 3 to 5 day package for $500 and who needs luminae Don’t get me wrong the suite life cruise as you know is great but the smart money cruiser who cruise a lot also cant afford $10k per cruise and see the world at those cost Maybe the big money folks or maybe not. Lol. Go have fun in a cabin. Look at the final bill for the return on money.
  8. Wow, We have been on 3 celebrity cruises in 15 months and it’s not been bad at all. The big cutbacks have mainly been seen at the ocean cafe in the evenings. With the ship half full they just cant have every station open without wasting food or it sitting way longer than it should. The cruise industry is starting to finally recover from the worst catastrophe it could ever have happened. Relax all, as the sailings fill up, the services as well as competition will improve all. Pricing will be better and the services will be better also. More they make the greedier they will be for more customers. It’s called capitalism. Go Celebrity go
  9. Hi, We’re on Summit in April and will Embark at Miami terminal. Whats been your experience and any tips? It’s been 5 years since we used a terminal in Miami.
  10. Glad you had a fun time on Summit We will be on her in April. Self serving food is a problem when people dont use good health practices. I think some just dont think… Also, I am sure that suites will come down in price. FCC have been a big factor in them filling up at some pretty high prices. As long as they remain full the price will stay as is. Crazy when per night cost is over $1000 per night.
  11. Just ask and it will be given. If not ask another person.
  12. I am certain all cruise lines want things back to normal. These ships were not built to sail half full so food and beverage manager has to ramp up slower than most of us would like. In answer….. Yes the last 3 cruises since startup, that we have gotten to go on, have improved greatly. Celebrity is getting there…..S..L…O…W…L…Y
  13. Hi All, Since the Covid restart, we have sailed on the Milli twice and just got off a 23 day sailing on Infinity. Milli really looks great. Cabins new look are so nice. We ordered food from MDR, Blue and Luminea All was good. ( on Milli and Infinity ). The food top side was not as great i think since the ships were less than half full. Less verity Pizza was bad. However, simply ask them to make you a whole new pizza with the fixin you want and what a difference. Also the officers are just all over each ship talking with all passengers. Lots of changes yes but it’s still our choice to cruise. Have fun
  14. Good to here Only 3 years older. Congrads. Sounds like you worked hard
  15. Cant see just staying home Planning a cruise in 12 weeks after full knee replacement. Yes i will keep up therapy. Anybody have experience.
  16. One more question. After you book with a CVP by celebrity and then you were to transfer to a travel agent for extra onboard credit, does this take away credits the CVP gets from helping you with the initial booking.
  17. Harris. Yes seeing that now. I make changes constantly and the agent struggled to keep up. The CVP can move much quicker. Now you can always transfer to your TA but not after 30 days. I just booked with a CVP and gonna see how this works for the first time. What’s not Fair for the TA is that they have to wait 30 minutes to an hour for someone to pick to talk. Through the TA it seems much quicker. Thanks all for responses
  18. Yes hubofHockey, wow never got 8 percent I agree. It would be hard to give up that extra 8 percent on a $10,000 booking but for the $1500 booking. Thanks for the tip. Gonna look into what i was missing 😊
  19. Thanks. Harris. Great to know. Yes its a CVP
