If you attend can and have time can you take a picture of the venue and what’s the offerings at that time.
Also to all if we travel with a couple of ours that are not Platinum or Elite can they still come ? Of course they will not go to the hors d’œuvre station and pay for the drinks.

    Thanks

We are sailing Enchanted September 2nd.  IF any of you folks are going to Gibraltar, I’d really be interested in any up to date information on taxi tours from the port.  I’ve read 30-55 GBP p/p for the 1 hr. 45 min. Top of the Rock tour which is quite a variation.  I’d really appreciate current information.  Happy travels.

Yes same here would love ton here on how you’ve done on your Gibraltar anyone ? On you own or hiring a taxi or private company.

  3. Here is my thought on these 2 lines.
First I think both product give a good value for a great vacation.

Where I’m most disappointed with Princess is in the refurbishment of the older ships. I don’t think they do as great as a job as X does with there’s and that why I tend not cruise on the older Princess ships.

I do love the Royal class done Royal and Regal but the Edge Class done Apex and Beyond have blown us away.

Next cruise is on the Enchanted so let’s hope with all the new additions and differences from her sisters that she will make us Princess proud again.

Thanks for the comparison by the way poster 🙂

  5. Although it was a nice touch upon boarding yes sometimes it was hard to have the glass, bags and carry-on all at once.

Suggestion to celebrity would be to great each guest and offer them a coupon to go at your own leisure to pick up that glass at any specific bar.

    Voila

vote me for new CEO 😂

I look at this change from a high level. If you’re trying to evaluate it based on some operational decisions, I think you’re missing the boat tbh.

Celebrity has positioned itself very well and has taken a commanding lead over its rivals in the premium space. It’s got a very large fleet with new ships coming on line almost every year, it’s parent is in the best shape financially of its competitors, and it’s got a great handle on service coming out of Covid.

The outgoing President has an incredible work history at RC that spans over many years. She worked her way thru the company and has it where it is today. Congratulations to her!

Promoting from within makes me feel that all of RC is in a good place. The team has done a good job and wants to build people over several years to eventually lead the company. It’s refreshing that they didn’t go outside the company with this move. I expect more of the same, meaning more of the things that have separated Celebrity from its competitors.

Do I think everything is perfect? Of course not. There’s plenty of things I’d like to see changed but that can be said about most anything.

Here’s to continuing to see Celebrity lead and expand its lead in the market!

Very good comment as for one have been very pleased with my last two cruises with Celebrity.
It took me 55 cruises 🚢 on almost all the mainstream lines before saying this cruise line Celebrity Is the brand that is the must suitable for me now.

They must be doing something right as it took me a long long time before deciding on a favorite line. Is it perfect of course not but I think they are ahead of the mainstream cruise lines.

You must be used to the newer large ships. Although does need refreshing, its far from outdated. And shows are subjective.

We are very easy pleasure trust me but this cruise ship unfortunately does not reflect the RCCL brand anymore. Your right shows are subjective but when you only get 2 performances in a 9 day cruise and that they look and sound like high school plays it’s time to change them.

Celebrity did move us and Guest Services was very concerned and accomodating.  I don't want anyone to think I am trying to trash Celebrity or that Celebrity blew off our concerns.  Quite the opposite.  They recognize they have a problem and are trying to deal with it.  I really hope they can get it figured out because it is not right for guests to wind up in a cabin with noise like that (even if Celebrity really does not know beforehand which cabins will be "haunted").  A lot of people don't know to ask to switch or would even know this is not normal.  We knew it was not normal but we were not going to ask to switch cabins until someone here suggested it.  We are glad we did.  But guests should not be put in this situation.  Hank is right that Celebrity has a big problem and needs to figure out how to fix it.  Beyond is a beautiful ship and should not become a black sheep.  Celebrity might have to send it to dry dock at Chantiers de l'Atlantique, maybe when it sails to Rome in May.  This should be the shipbuilder's problem to fix.  I hope the fix is not too difficult.  If they can identify the haunted cabins, one option might be to just replace the mechanic veranda window with a fixed window and sell it as an oceanview.  I would love to see them scrap the infinite verdana concept all together and convert the balconies into traditional open balconies with sliding glass doors.  But it seems Celebrity is too invested in the infinite verdana concept to change course now.

We had interior cabin on deck 3 and had similar noise but even louder and worst at night couldn’t sleep for the first 2 nights. We got also moved and then was better. So it’s not only the IV cabins with that problem it’s others as well.

  9. Was on the Beyond last week and had an Interior cabin on deck 3 and the first 2 nights the noise was so loud  we had trouble sleeping. It seemed like it was coming from beneath our cabin and in the walls sometimes.

Our friends 2 cabin away also had the same problem.

We reported the second Day to the front desk and I ask if on the previous cruise the guest had complained and the answer was also yes.
They moved us to deck 6 and out of the next 5 nights only 1 of those had a bit of noise.

I should of recorded the noise because it was very very loud at night.
