We were ably to drink a variety of bourbons and whiskeys at the Eden Bar. I even got Nico to make be a Brooklyn cocktail twice!

What has been your favorite drinks at Eden ? WhTs is a Brooklyn Cocktail ?
Is Nico a bartender or a server ?

    Thanks

Great review and there was nothing I had a differing opinion with. This particular sailing did indeed have an older average passenger age than our other recent Celebrity sailings.

I think longer cruises no matter what attracts an older crowd. We have been going a bit more on Celebrity lately and found the demographics have been more of our age around 50’s.
it’s seems also that Celebrity has been trying to attract the X generation with all the activities and music.

    my thoughts 😂

  4. Hello Kwokpot,

First this is a very informative review with just enough and precise content.

Here are a few questions for you and fellow peeps on this sailing.

How is the wait time in the MDR for folks without reservations ?

Has anyone tested the pagers at the Martini bar, Eden or World Class Bar ?

Speaking of the WCB how’s the service and drinks there ? Would you happen to have taken any pictures ?

Thanks for the review loving it.

Boarding for me will be November 20th.

*The entertainment on the Beyond has been outstanding. I thought there would be no equal to the production show ARTE but Beyond has another winner with ELEMENTS. As with Arte it was the synergy of the individual performers, production, and the theater itself to produce a show that was breathtaking.

I also watched the show The Jazz Joint at the Club and it too was a great show with a Supper club feel to it.

Can’t wait to board her November 20th. I love attending a great show fêter dinner on a ship. It’s just makes it a perfect night. Would you happen to know what time are the Mai. Theatre shows at ?

    Thanks

I don't think it's a short term change. When we spoke to the dining reservations host she was very clear that although the Edge and Apex has early and late fixed seating the Beyond does not. The problem is communication. There was no communication in the cabin about this change. Even when my parents inquired at Guest Relations the way it was explained is 'we don't have that on this ship. You just go to any dining room you want whenever you want.' We thought my elderly parents were confused by what was told to them which is why we asked this morning at breakfast for clarification. It wasn't presented as, 'We understand that you had booked a fixed Early Dining option but since you booked we have made changes on this ship and no longer offer this option.' That statement acknowledges what the guest presumed they were getting but there were subsequent changes. The current explanation is just flatly we don't have that.

We will be cruising here Beyond in November and I guess the 40% has already been achieved as the only place left is too late for us un most MDR. The range of time left is between 08-09PM and we prefer 07 0r 0730PM and we’re only able to secure that on first night.

How does the walk-in wait time look like at present now with the changes ?

    thanks

Good to know.  I have seen several other posts (but not all) that say the same thing.  Even though HAL corporate says you need to submit an ArriveCAN in order to board a Canada to US cruise, the people doing the check-in understand the rules and they do not ask for it.  I wish HAL would just give out the correct info!

I guess if they do ask for it you can just to it at the port as it taked only a few minutes to fill out.

    Eric,

    If I do the math....

    $223.02 / 2 = 111.51 per person

    111.51 / 1.2 = 92.93 before gratuities

    92.93 / 7 = 13.28 per day

    13.28 / 0.9 = 14.75 per day before your 10% discount

If you go to your cruise planner, what is the difference between classic and premium? Do you see anything that says there is an sale going on?

We have the Always Included and are basing an upgrade upon the difference between the sale price of classic versus the sale price of premium. In our case, that would be $14. What number do you see?

  9. Hello again,

Here is what I meant it seems likey only gave me the 10% discount for being Select. Should I call back and ask for that 9% extra they are showing in my cruise planner ?

‘Also to make it clear when you à;; say upgrading from Classic to Premium do you all have the all included or you only have drink package and ask for upgrade ?

    Thanks all

  10. Hello all,

Were do you guys see the rebate on the upgrade as last week when I did my upgrade from my upcoming cruise on the Beyond in November the agent only gave me my 10% discount for being Select.

So for our 7 nights cruise the the total upgrade price came out to 223,02$ Total. Like I said I only see the 10% discount for being select member.

Let me know where and how to get that extra % off.

    Thanks all

  11. Hello all,

I know it’s very personal but before I start booking a Specialty restaurant with our $100 credit

we have on board was wondering what’s your favorite on the Edge class and why ?

Will be on the Beyond in November and have never done any speciality restaurant on any

    celebrity ships as of yet.

    Thanks all
