  1. Any itinerary that traverses the eastern GOM/western Caribbean the first half of the week will probably be altered.
  2. I've got at least 8 years before that'd even be a actionable discussion, so I've got time.
  3. My wife and I sometimes ponder a move to Florida after retirement to make cruising easier. But man I'd be way overstressed in hurricane season.
  4. Still way early to know where Ian is going to make landfall. It may not even hit the FL peninsula.
  5. If it's your national vaccination proof, you'll be fine. As for the test, just go buy a cheap at home test at a local pharmacy once you get in the states. That's all you need now.
  6. Why? Because I don't need to be on a ship that's an amusement park to enjoy a cruise. I prefer Freedom/Voyager class. But have past and future cruises on Radiance and Vision class ships primarily due to itineraries that the larger ships can't/won't accommodate.
  7. Right, I'm sure they dispatched fire crews and closed decks briefly due to their protocols. I just don't think it was a major issue.
  8. When Carnival had its whale tail fire, there were dozens of reports, photos, videos. This fire, which supposedly was major enough to close decks, has 1 anonymous report and nothing else?
  9. Leaving the USA as the only western country in the world with a vaccine requirement to visit the country.
  10. Cruise Law News likes to embellish things that make the cruise industry look bad, so who knows what the actual truth is here.
  11. I don't believe any require a booster. Just for some Euro cruises you have to test more if you aren't boosted.
  12. None of that would have been from Fiona. The only impacts to the Bahamas (as far as cruising goes) could be some rough surf the next couple days.
  13. Haiti is the poorest country in the world that's not in Africa. Unrest and anarchy are commonplace. But Labadee might as well not even be in Haiti.
  14. I got it last year for $79. I wouldn't want to pay any more than that in the future.
  15. Being on one ship is merely sampling RC. Until you've been on a couple ship classes, you really haven't tried RC.
  16. The only issues I noticed with food was supply chain issues limiting the menu and staffing issues which affected food preparation quality. Both are temporary.
  17. Labadee is so far removed and isolated from the Haiti that's always in the news. Even the crew calls it "fake Haiti"
  18. If you need Broadway shows, bumper cars and Disney-like restaurants, then you maybe disappointed in smaller ships. Otherwise, you'll be fine.
  19. The only rooms left unsold are the covid jail rooms that I can't imagine RC will keep around too much longer, if they even still have them.
  20. As anyone who has cruised knows, it's very, very difficult to fall off a balcony for an adult, none the less a two year old.
  21. Use it as an opportunity to test your dog, pet fish or that apple in the fruit basket that's turning brown.
