    Based on data that gets loaded in the background when you log into your account, Icon 3 will have a ship code of "TR"

    $22 per day from the cruise planner is a terrible price though. And it's no guarantee the onboard price will be $25. My last cruise (on Adventure, so not a new ship) it was $31.

    They already assigned ship code "LE" to Oasis 7. They assigned "TR" to Icon 3. When you log into your account, all the ship info (for the entire RC Group) is loaded in the background. Oasis 7 was there many months before they announced it, too. Also, the ship code for Star, "ST", was there long before they announced that name.

    It hasn't been like that in a long time. Now it's "do you have any random symptom for anything such as x, y, z" and "in the last 24 hours"

    Unless you're on a short cruise, it'll always be more expensive on board, even with the discount

    Count me as one who would love that weather on a cruise.

    It's only worth it if the price is close to the price of internet AND you take advantage of everything that the Key offers. Otherwise it's just expensive internet.

    I mean it's an Alaskan cruise in April. That weather is expected.

    "Are you too pregnant to cruise?" "Do you feel OK?" That's what the questionnaire is these days.

    All the more reason to ensure people stayed on board.

    But they really aren't overnighting in a port of call. Everyone boarding that ship yesterday didn't expect to get off the ship until the first port of call. So not being able to get off while stuck in Vancouver shouldn't be a big deal.

    So no one is allowed off the ship until the next port stop. Isn't that kind of...normal?

    Reusing Legend as the final Oasis ship would actually be quite symbolic. The last in the class that redefined what cruise ship design is all about.

    Should or shouldn't is up to the individual. But you're under no obligation to.

    I'd be shocked if there were any true upgrades. Just the typical paint/carpet/furniture stuff.

    I had a price drop last week. First price drop I've had on a cruise in 2 years.

    Well, you would have been on board for an hour now, finding out that you're staying in Vancouver for the next two days, but have a free drink package until then. Plus the usual refund/FCC stuff.

    Sailing at 107% capacity (which means well above that on the meaty Caribbean routes), no need to offer all inclusive packages.

    11 is a long one for a charter, so probably not that. Could also be a room re-inventorying, which can make it disappear for a while.

    Heading past Victoria now. Should get in in plenty of time to get work started.

    The 35 foot channel is now open and the stranded ships are lining up to get out. The first one is about to pass through the salvage site.

    Legend will be the next Oasis ship name. The next Icon will be Intrigue or some other name with a "TR" in it.
