Have a few hours at the office this morning before i can dig into how to pay for another cabin's drink package pre-cruise.

does anyone have knowledge on how to do that?

(want to pay for two cabins who are part of our original booking.  dont want to do in onboard since it will be a higher rate to wait)

    many thanks!

Go to Booking Order and Details for your cruise and you will see "Manage Another booking", you will need their booking number and add. Then you can go into Cruise Manager and order it will come up with all your names so choose carefully as I once found out and done

I just received and used a new Carnival cc and now have the 20,000 fun points.  I have 2 cruises coming up and would like to convert them to $100 OBC on each.  Do I have to call Carnival or Barclay's or is it only for statement credit?

I go online to my Barclay account and once you sign in it will show you how many fun points that you have above that there is a  line that reads Rewards and Benefits, if you click on that you can then can choose your OBC/Carnival gift card. I choose a gift card and when it comes in I apply to my cruise. When you get onboard there will be a card in you room showing that it has been applied or you can wait until on the ship and go to guest services and they will apply for you

Going to need distilled water for my next cruise.  Is this available on the ship?

You can call Carnival Fun shops 1-800-522-7648 prior to the cruise and they will have it waiting in your room for you or go to Guest Services once on board but the truth is we were always throwing so much away and I always order bottled water anyways and use it for the cruise

I am planning a a 14 day Southren Carribean Cruise for 1/25. Have you done a journey cruise ? What was your experience.

The biggest difference I noticed besides what icft said was no priority boarding because there are usually a very high number of Diamond and Platinum and it can be impossible to find a machine or table in the casino if you gamble but we have done several and have 3 more booked because we love them

The cruisers on them are generally older and experienced cruisers. The vast majority can speak three sentences in a row without the "F" word. We've never seen anyone falling down drunk on a Journey cruise. So, totally different than most Carnival cruises. We love them.

So true and thats why we love them

My wife and I just got back from a Mardi Gras cruise which we used my offer of free grand suite and DOU on the whole ship. We are both getting offers. I’m offered the free suite and DOU on the entire ship with a +1 and she’s getting free balcony room with DOU on the entire ship with a +1. We want to bring her parents with us but give them one of the rooms. Any advice on the best way to book it? Do I add one of her parents to my room and she adds one to hers? One couple would have a key to a room but would have to stay together. If I call to book it, will they allow us to book both rooms and put them on the one room?

You would be in one room with a Parent and your wife would be in the other room with the other Parent for booking purposes, then once on the ship you just go to guest services and have the room keys adjusted. And yes Carnival can book this way for you with you handling the exchanging of the keys at guest services once onboard.

    Hi.
Is it possible to purchase the alcohol package with OBC from bith the TA and CCL give us or do we need to purchase on ship?

Does it ever go on sale? Doing four nights on Freedom.

    Thank you.

You can use OBC to pay for the Cheers package however it would have to be available and showing in your Booking Details page. I only use a PVP from Carnival so I would think that the OBC does not show up on your B&D page just like OBC does not show up if you have some from the  Carnival Mastercard. Once on the ship it is usually in your account and you can use it then but you also pay the increased price

We have taken 9 Carnival cruises, have been to all the likely suspects in the Caribbean.

What line is there to choose to visit St Kitts, Nevis, St Lucia, Barbados?  Some islands off the regular Carnival rotation.

What ship lines are you choosing to visit these other islands?

Carnival does but if you want all those islands on one cruise look for a journey cruise typically 10 days or more. We have been to all of them the Venezia is doing a 14 day out of Port Carnaval that is doing a few of those ports

Hi guys! I was just looking at Cheers and it told me the price is rising soon. so I quickly added it to all 5 of my sailings.

Does anyone know when the price of the Cheers package will go up?

    thanks!!

We used both of ours on our ten-day Alaska cruise in August. We splurged on an aft-wrap balcony and ended up with over $1700 in OBC. (We are not gamblers so no casino deals for us.)

We did the same and it paid for all our excursions which are quite expensive in alaska

Cruising on Magic in December 2023, I'm just wondering if anyone has suggestions for things to do.

I was thinking airplane beach would be cool to see in St. Maarten but it's probably really busy right? Are there any quiet beaches/hidden gems?

Maho Beach will cost you a taxi ride and as many times as we have been there have not really seen children probably because the planes coming in can at times send sand flying. There is a beach right across from the port. While you can walk around to it there is also a direct short ride ferry right at the port for a minimal fee.

Is exploring San Juan on foot with a five year old realistic? Can you walk to some of the forts? Do they have a trolly type system or anything for getting around? Any decent beaches there?

San Juan is a beautiful city for exploring but the streets are cobble stone and narrow as well as the side walks and they can be quite heavy with foot traffic when ships are in port. And there is a lot of uphill and down hill which maybe too much for some 5yr olds. There is the trolley but we didn't find it real reliable and had to wait quite a while for it to arrive. Taxi's are right there when you get off the ship and it was not expensive for the ride over to the Fort, which has a beautiful lawn that a 5yr could run around on and then walk back which would allow you to explore and its all downhill

We did an excursion last time we were at Amber Cove, so I'm not familiar with the port really. Is there a beach that's walkable?

The pool at the port is great, The Zip line cost extra and the water slide is not much to right home about and bathrooms are very clean. If you ever decide to increase spending the Poolside Cabana's are wonderful

We're just looking for anything family friendly that won't cost a lot.

Any tips would be helpful, thanks so much!

If you have your ID with you at the time of the jackpot the attendant will pay you out at the machine, if not you get a slip to take to the cashier.

That's what I am asking, I had my ID and they wanted to give me a slip and then stand in line at the Cashiers desk which as we know can be a very long line.

  13. I was recently on the Sunshine and was fortunate enough to win a nice hand pay, however even with me giving them my ID they wanted to give me a slip to go stand in the Cashier line to cash it. I told them I would prefer my money and they did comply, however on the last day when everyone is in line to cash out there casino accounts I was speaking to the woman in front of me and she had won two hand pays and stated that she was told she would have to collect from the cashier.  Is this something new because I have never had this happen on any other ship and I always tip those who pay me

I usually travel Royal Caribbean and always get a balcony guarantee. However, this option is never on yhe website. You must call. Is Carnival the same? I was on the website to book a cruise on the Sunshine leaving from Norfolk in 2025. There was no option to book a guarantee. If I call will that be an option?

There are guarantee rooms available for Sunshine out of Norfolk in 2025 on line it is called "rooms will be assigned"

I'm not 100% I want it...but I can get an extra 10% off with my Chase card if I do it this week.

Puts it at about $65/day--about as high as I like to pay.

I am trying a cruise w/o a drink plan next week...mostly as BFF doesn't drink & $150/day for the 2 of us doesn't make sense.

Bringing on wine & some sodas to try to minimize purchases.

So I will have a better idea of whether it's worth it or not after next week.

SO thinking buy it; if I determine I don't need it, return it.

    Will that work?

Yes you can cancel and the money will go back to the card that you charged it too
