WOW!  What an amazing cruise this was.  This ship is HUGE...I mean if i was in my cabin and had to go to Guest Services...count on 20 minutes....We sure got our exercise...Food was wonderful...Lots to do on the lido during the sea days...Question...has anyone heard of a drink called a BUSHWACKER....When I ordered one the lido  bartender looked at me like I had 3 heads....he then talked with another bartender and they kinda looked at me funny.....He put some sort of concoction together...Koodoos to him for trying...I took a sip....and thanked god I had free drinks anywhere on the ship....It was kinda funny...No worries.....The only other thing I was kinda surprised at was that they didn't have individual yogurts....you had go get a bowl and spoon it out of a large open bowl....Missed my banana yogurt...no biggy....had a WONDERFUL TIME... Another reason I keep coming back to Carnival...

Bushwacker is "Thee" drink at Patriots Point in St Thomas and we had a few

We're booked on Jubilee for next March and I'll have my CPAP with me. From the pics/videos I've seen from Mardi Gras and Celebration, it looks as though instead of nightstands next to the bed they have tiny little shelves now. It's hard to judge scale though. I'm just wondering for those of you have brought their CPAP along on either of these ships, did you have any trouble with it fitting on the little shelf? I have an AirSense 11 for reference.

    Thanks!

We are both CPAP users and have been on the Mardi Gras twice and just home from the Celebration. while it was a tight fit ours did work on the lower shelf beside the bed. We ran the extension cord under the bed (easy because they seem to be a little higher) and across to the desk that does have a regular plug.

Does anyone know if you have to be paid in full or within a certain time frame of cruising to link cruise companions for dining? We are sailing with a group of 10 (5 cabins) on the Carnival Vista in 2025 and I’ve invited the others via the carnival website to be cruise companions but no one has received an email yet. Hoping I don’t have to call to link the bookings so I will take any tips and helpful hints. Thank you!

I just do it every time we are all booked it is quite easy but you will need to know everyones booking number.

You may see me posting more than one question in a couple cruise sights, and I have another question here.

Within the past year when booking a Carnival cruise, did you use an agent that you knew, booked it on line, or called and got a personal Carnival agent?

We have had the same PVP with Carnival since the early 2000's.

you don't have to muster first to get a drink.  They will cut you off if you haven't been to your muster station by a certain time.  Usually, around sail away time.

Depends on the ship, we have been on a few that would not allow a drink until you went to muster and all others you were cut off after your second

Absolutely - I do it all the time (sometimes intentional, sometimes not).

I'll be taking some onto the Celebration this coming Saturday in fact.

Just off Celebration yesterday morning, lost my money on 3 card but won 3 super grand chances on slots a total of 4 very nice hand pays. Wishing you luck

I know the in cabin channels don't have very good content these days. Wondering if the sports bar will show hockey or just basketball. Do they show more than one game at a time ?

I hope so we are on the Celebration next week, I may live in NC but still a Canadian citizen from Windsor and will be looking for it, otherwise I'm thinking of bringing my iPad to stream it

We’ll be on the Mardi Gras. From the deck plans, it looks like we’re directly under the loungers. Guess I made a mistake.

We have been on the MG on deck 15 twice (15471) my husband loves the room, behind the elevators so quick access, the only noise was the bolt as it flew by but it does not go late into the night and never caused a problem with sleeping.

I already saw this but as I mentioned I already have $250 obc, so I should be good right?

If you're not good, you and everyone of the ship will know when they call your name overhead.

I don't think they "set" a specific schedule.  In my experience it is random and all over the place.  It is kind of "when they can fit it in."  I think a lot depends on how many there are, etc.

PS:  I am assuming you mean the diamond "party,"  there really isn't a brunch.  Just a few small bites that are passed and drinks.

Actually it is a brunch, my husband always gets the flat iron steak.

Are the Elite perks and benefits not worth the difference in casino funplay credits?

The Elite Perks were great but no longer a spa offer instead of an excursion (we always took the spa because we book excursions very early and do not want to wait until two weeks before the cruise when they come out for Elite cruise plus its limited). I'm sure others are are but I have not received fun play on the last two Elite offers which I'm not sure why since I have so many other fantastic offers from the Casino.

  12. Loved my Elite Cruises but disappointed that no Casino Fun play was offered, I usually get an offer of $300 to $500. I have too many better offers with $500 to $1000 or $2000 OBC so I will be missing the next Elite offer so sad

Not a true statement at all.  Some ports do have different lines and some do not.  We have done both and never had an issue or delay getting off a ship.  If it takes a little longer... it's like 2 seconds.

Then you should have been on our MG sailing last month over 1000 in the BC line with only two women working immigration. There were some very happy cruisers

  14. We did the Koningsdam when it was brand new and can not say enough about the ship from the exceptional service, beauty of the ship to the food especially on the Lido deck and we are not Lido deck foodies. I'm sorry but I don't remember anything in particular to Pinnacle. However with that said we had someone in the ranks on the ship approach us in one of the ports and tell us that we were not old enough for HAL and we tend to agree and we are not young by any means.
