  1. I was on the 3 night and the 7 days starting 10/13. I can attest that the 3 night cruise was by far the worst cruise I have ever been on and we were in the YC and it was bad. The 7 night got better but was not the same level of service we received on the Seashore twice. I will post a full review once I get settled at work.
  2. We had an issue that we did not get points. I emailed a lot for months and it was finally addressed 4 months after I started. They gave us points but our expiration date did not change. Luckily we cruised in June and that trip did post and extended the expiration.
  3. It was open when we sailed the Seashore this summer
  4. We sailed in the YC in December on the Seashore and it didn't notice if the dress code was being enforced. However, on our June cruise in the YC one of the first things our butler said to us was that shorts are not allowed in the YC restaurant during dinner. We did see this being enforced. A couple we talked to were asked to change and come back the second night.
  5. I was wondering if those dates are correct. In talking to a Travel Agent friend, they told me that they were told by MSC that the 3 days cruise leaving 10/13 was close to 4500 and the 7 day leaving on the 16th was at around 2300 currently.
  6. We just have different views on several things. So I will move on
  7. This is disappointing but will save me some money I suppose. On both US sailings I have been on in the past year smoking was not allowed. I am not sure if when they get to the US the smoking will stop.
  8. Perhaps your attitude and the attitude of the OP deserved the response I gave. I rarely am rude to anyone on this forum, I have posted on here for years but some people in this forum just try to pick a fight with everyone and I am tired of it. There was no reason for your original comment.
  9. We will be joining on Oct 13 for 10 days from Port Canaveral. I heard they were allowing smoking in the casino despite that per the report the signs in the casino say non smoking? If true, I hope they stop it once cruising from the US. Thanks
  10. I have a few but one that stands out in my mind was the Butter Chicken in the YC on my December cruise on the Seashore. Our waiter told us that any Indian dish in the Yacht Club was a not to miss and he was correct.
  11. I assumed that people understood what I was doing. I am sorry that you did not. Also, I did not respond to the rest of your post as you were rude and I refuse to read the rest of what you had said.
  12. I know I had read last week regarding check in issue online. It seems these continue as I tried to check in this morning and received an error. Anyone else in the same boat. It does seem like the App is working. I say it every time there is an IT issue but it really does amaze that a company this size has such horrible IT. Logging on and having my booking come up as not found everyday has become acceptable to me and that is just ridiculous.
  13. I have posted on here a couple of times about my frustration in getting points for my December trip add to my account. As a point of background my husband and I traveled on the Seashore in December. It was a fantastic trip and we loved the ship. We did have an issue at check in as they did not have our room keys or any information on us when we got to check in. They said we were marked as no shows. This was odd because I had checked in online and had all of the required paperwork and tickets from checking in online. Luckily we were in the Yacht Club and after an hour we were on board and able to get in our room. It did take a day to get everything sorted out. So, in Early January I realized that our points for our trip were never added. I called and was told to email which I did several times over the next month and only received the automated message. Then I saw on here someone recommended emailing every day which I started to do in mid march. WE finally received a reply yesterday from my email on 4/26/22 the day prior. Where all of the other emails went who knows. Their response was "after a thorough review it is determined that no points are due as you were a NO SHOW for your cruise" They went on to say since we did not sail, we do not get points. I am not very irate. I even explained in my original email that we had issues at the port. They did no research. They said if I had any issues to call. Which I did and it was again the basic customer service who said they could not help me I would have to email. I loved the ship and the service on board but the land based customer service is absolutely horrid. As most already know. So I replied to the email with scans of the final bills we received on board and even the note from the concierge apologizing for the issues at embarkation. I know that missing points aren't the end of the world but it is now a matter of principal.
