  1. I like the top as the depth is intriguing; however, both are nice. Jules is signing up for a course on the iphone photography site. Thanks for mentioning it to us.
  2. I am all caught up and excited to continue on with you. Thank you for posting so many great photos. -Mark
  3. I have also found the origami frog to hold up well to the porter abuse. 😃
  4. Love so many of these ideas, thank you for sharing your hacks.
  5. I fold as directed and stick them in the plastic holder bought online
  6. I have watched multiple videos on the subject and have some solid ideas; now it is time to ask those with experience. What are your go to methods for beating or at least keeping jet lag in check? ✈️ Do you have specific pre-trip - first day techniques? We are flying non-stop from SLC to Amsterdam a 10 hour flight departing about 2:45 pm and arriving the next morning at 8:30 am (so about 1 am SLC time) We are spending a week in Amsterdam before we board Apex, so I think by the time we get on the ship we will be ok, but I want to adjust to the time change as fast a possible so we can enjoy our time without too many fatigue filled days. Thank you very much.
  7. Loved reading your review, thank you for sharing. Can I cash in my PUP points for a S' mores waffle please.
  8. @Jim_Iain Who is the cruise director on Apex, and will they be the CD for entire trip? Thanks, and I am enjoying the photos.
  9. Yes, it is worth the time and money. After you have this experience you may go the one and done route or have found a new favorite to enjoy multiple time.
  10. The video uploaded perfectly. The Apex theater is absolutly amazing, that screen adds so much.
  11. @Jim_Iain I am all caught up with the thread and wishing you well on your travels to FLL. I am very interested in following along, We did the Caribbean leg of your trip last year so it will be fun to relive the experience. We are in the Fjords on Apex in June so super excited for this. Thank you for taking us along with you.
  12. @Norwaylady Thank you so much for including us on your travels. Are you heading straight back home or spending extra time in the States. Regardless,, be safe and we look forward to the next trip.
  13. I see the same for my sailing on Apex in June out of Rotterdam. $1,700 pp for a entry level suite. I was planning to put in a bid but with these prices I am struggling to take the plunge.

  15. Here we go again, and I am ready to follow along and live vicariously through you. Looking forward to the fun.
  16. I am amazed by the number of concierge class events on this cruise. We were on Apex last March and we only had two events, the embarkation day lunch, and a captains welcome. Perhaps our lack of happenings was because of the restart, the cruise director, or another reason. Regardless, it is fun to read and hear about the events. I am enjoying reading your report and seeing your pictures.
  17. Thank you for posting this video, it gets me excited for my next cruise, and brings back great memories of previous buffet extravaganzas.
  18. Like many other responders we use a mix of X and independent excursions. Ultimately you need to do what is best for you. Others can provide guidance, share opinions and experiences; however, it is your vacation, your money and your memories. After you learn from others, apply this knowledge and make the best choice for your unique situation. Regardless if you book through X or not, you will not always be able to control what others on the excursion do. Go with a an attitude of intrigue and embrace each experience as it comes to you. If you make the best decision for you and your group you are less likely to have regrets.
  19. Norwaylady I am excited to follow along we love X. Thank you for the pictures of Norway; we are headed there in June for our first Fjords cruise on Apex. Have fun and enjoy the sun.
  20. We used Uber in FLL last March with great results. Do not hesitate to Uber/Lyft.
  21. After multiple sailing on X from US ports, this summer will be our first leaving from a European port (Rotterdam). Will our on board experience differ in any manner? (I assume there will be little or no difference)
