My experience boogie boarding was that three different staff gave three different explanations on how to do a 360. I ended up combining their tips and successfully got all of the way around on the last sea day.

I wonder if he's still playing crew vs guests in pool volleyball. We played them close but their experience (and sobriety) overcame our best efforts.
The teams were introduced by first name and as we were in line disembarking three days later, Captain Marek was thanking everyone for sailing with Royal. He remembered and thanked me by name.

I recommend Galveston Limousine.

You'll get a deal towards the end of the cruise if demand is low. As is usual, Royal is consistently inconsistent.

We did enjoy our "back room" accommodation. The original concept was a small table inside a working kitchen and that certainly doesn't invite pleasant conversation.

We ate at Chef's Table April 13 on Serenade. The food was most excellent. We are not "winers" and didn't get the pairings and received a $25 pp discount on the price. It was next to last night on board, and they were selling all specialty restaurants at a 30% discount at the time.
One of the "winers" mentioned that the pairings were a bit white wine heavy and that they could buy most of the selections fairly cheaply.

I had no problem with the Diamond Concierge when I showed the lounge to two travel mates who weren't Diamond in the middle of the day on Liberty last year. I wouldn't try it during happy hour.

I've seen Newcastle Brown Ale on every Royal ship I've sailed. They are not sold in pint bottles, however. It's always at the Pub if it's not stocked at the bar you are standing at.

Fun review BillOh. Question: what was the date of Freedom's 100th cruise in 2008? My first cruise ever was on Freedom in September of '08.

Best snorkeling I've ever done was Upachaya Eco Resort in Roatan. Tour includes lunch. No age limit.

Just happened to us April 8 on St Thomas. We had a 12:15 Meetup time, arrived at 12:13 and they were gone. The RCI dockside coordinator tracked them down and the taxi came back for us after dropping off the rest of our tour group at the site. All's well that ended well.

Not so much age but height 52” for boogie boarding and 58” for stand up.
I think it's 12 years old and under must have a responsible adult in the Flowrider area and staff requires the child to point out the adult before entering the flow.

My question is, do high rise buildings dedicate an elevator for mobility issues at "peak times" like mornings when offices open and afternoons when its quitting time? I've never seen it.
Not on Holland America, and they are a scooter "friendly" cruise line.

OP's wife REALLY wants Jamaica. All that needs to be said.

Great pics and wonderful suite you have. I'll enjoy following along.
NOTE: Please don't quote pictures on a live blog. Our gracious host has slow internet and will have to wait for the quoted pics to load before giving us new content.

Can you share more information about your snorkeling excursion? We will be in Roatan in October. I love Woodwind, so anything close to that experience would be great!
We were led between several coral heads such that you were looking at almost eye level to the coral instead of hovering over it. On Woodwind you just went along without directions to any features.
You can read all about it here:

Mr Fain and Mr Bayley will also be issuing small dogs to each passenger on a first come, first served basis.

You forgot a very important fact. Royal Caribbean will be giving every woman a $50 luggage allowance to pay for the extra suitcase that will be required to bring the ball gowns and the extra petticoats.
I heard Royal Caribbean was going clothing optional. No more $35 luggage fee for air travelers.

Snorkeling with Upachaya resort in Roatan was the best. Even better than Woodwind at Bonaire.

Try using Internet Explorer. Neither Firefox nor Chrome would work for me, both throwing errors.

Having bought a one-way air ticket less than 4 weeks from a flight, I was subjected to a "random" search. This was before 9/11. They will always tell you it's random when you fit the current profile.
And it looks like for CBP on that day, the B2B people fit that current profile.
You don't have a right to privacy at the border, but you do have the right to remain silent. If you exercise that right at the border CBP has the right to go through your stuff with a fine toothed comb, so answering their questions greases the wheels a bit.

Great bridge pics APDMOM! I expect the Diamond Lounge to be a zoo on our 10 night on Serenade in two and a half weeks so it's nice to see one without all of the monkeys. 🙂

Help! Online check-in

I submitted "action shots" just to have a pic uploaded. When we checked in on Serenade in April the CSR took our pictures but then 3 minutes later the security guy at ding in wanted to take new ones.
