  1. On our Viking cruise a few months ago, they provided free covid test onboard on day before our last day/day before our flight back to US. Easy peasy. On our land based European tour last month, they had covid test at hotel for $30 day before. Results emailed 1 hour later. Easy peasy. Our upcoming cruise in June has entire sea day in inside passage on day (Sat) before docking back in Vancouver (Sun). All of our group of 30, along with most of our fellow 3000 passengers onboard, are flying back to the US, thus need proctored covid test to fly. I assume: 1. Cruise ship (RCCL) doesn't provide staff & tests kits onboard 2. Majority will bring their own Emed proctored test kits, since they don't want to wait last minute to test at pier the morning that they're flying out 3. Everyone will log onto ship's wifi to do proctored test Assume that we're too far out/away from good reliable TMobile cell signal while in inside passage. So will/are ship's wifi good enough to handle the massive load of video conf calls to do proctored tests on that Sat? Guess RCCL won't be giving us free wifi for that day, & One of us must purchase the wifi pkg for the day & take turn to share access?
  2. United made it worse by changing our non-stop flight from 2pm to 12:15pm. The next non-stop flight is 11:30pm... All of our group of 20 must fly back that Sunday, iot be back work on Monday
  3. We're same for June sailing. $99.99 for 3, free shipping, no tax: https://store.optum.com/shop/products/abbott-binaxNOW-COVID-19-ag-emed-at-home-test-kit-3-pack/#shipping $150 for 6, + $22 Fedex shipping, + tax: https://www.emed.com/products/covid-at-home-testkit-six-pack
  4. Our Jan 2022 cruise ended in Ft Laud. Our #8 luggage tags were called at 7:50 am. After walking down to terminal, picking up our bags, went thru immigration & customs, which took less than 2 minutes, very impressed with how efficient they were, we were out of the terminal by 8 am in taxi by 8:05 am arrived at FLL at 8:18 am for our 11:20 am flight
  5. Thanks for info about M&M tours, but they still want $42.53 per person, or $1275 for our group of 30. Does anyone know approx prices for Uber, taxi, etc...? Or take the city bus for $2, if most of us don't mind walking 1 - 2 miles to the visitor center...?
  6. It's approx 12 miles/20 minutes from Juneau cruise port to Mendenhall Glacier visitor center. We're a group of 30, so what's the best transportation method to get all of us to get there: cruise ship excursion, booth at dock, bus, taxi, uber...? Thanks,
  7. Wow. Just called Canada Place cruise terminal & few hotels nearby, since there's no CVS nor Walgreens in Vancouver, they all referred to a few local testing sites, costs over $100 CAD, with CVM, www.covid-medical.ca, being lowest at $79 CAD (approx $62 USD). So Emed's online proctored kits, at $25 each, looks like the best way to go, https://www.emed.com/products/covid-at-home-testkit-six-pack?hsLang=en# Anyone has better suggestions...?
  8. Our group of 30 from 4 diff US states are flying into & visiting Vancouver 3 days before our cruise in June. Staying in hotel 10 blocks from Vancouver cruise port. So where do us Americans go to take covid test (2 days? Antigen?) before boarding cruise ship? Thanks,
  9. We're flying into Vancouver on the 16th, staying 3 nights in Vancouver, then boarding cruise ship on the 19th. So do we do the ArriveCan 3 days before the 16th or the 19th...?
  10. We have a 44 person family cruise this summer, Alaska inside passage route, roundtrip Vancouver to Juneau & back. On other ocean cruises, we all usually turn on airplane mode, & a few will pay for the cruise ship's wifi. But just wondering if there's good TMobile, Verizon, or ATT 5G voice, data, & texts service avail during the entire Alaska inside passage route, while underway cruising, besides on docking days in port cities. That way, we can safely turn off wifi & prevents inadvertently pick up ship's wife to prevent racking up $$$, by mostly using the carriers' 5G or 4G/LTE signal. We've looked at TMobile's coverage map of Alaska's inside passage, but it looks sorta sparse between the cities: https://www.t-mobile.com/coverage/coverage-map Also, we plan on having our large group on WhatsApp for text msgs. Good idea? Would like to hear from those who has done Alaska inside passage before to give us some good tips...? Thanks,
