Typically they do not have the staff or the desire to run the entire dining room for sea day brunch. Perhaps only half the dining room will be available for seating so seeing empty tables is normal. Waiting 20 minutes for water and your order taken is ridiculous though.

No that is not possible, at least not right now (and probably won't ever be possible). The cruise line wants to sell you a wifi plan so they can get a cut. But dramatically cutting the cost of wifi, if not making it free, is the key to the survival of cruise lines in the coming decades I think. So I'd like to see it.

Linear television is dead/dying. Carnival would be foolish to invest a dime in it.

WFC is the key to the survival of the industry and I firmly believe that. You can get a lot done with a solid ~10Mbps connection. You won't get much better than that at most land-based resorts - they throttle individuals so nobody can hog the whole pipe.

It's certainly true that you don't have to give away the farm to get free cruise offers from Carnival's casino.

22bn in debt (or whatever the number is) and still in business is better than the alternative, which is what happens without loyal guests.

Go to the extreme aft of Lido, the Havana Bar area is not as crowded for lunch. Yes, you can get your food from Guy's/buffet and take it back there to eat.

Cruise Radio talked about this today, there is a strong storm blowing across the Bahamas today. A Royal ship cancelled their call at Coco Cay, etc. It's a shame when any port of call, especially your only call is cancelled!

The last cruise I was on, Sunshine in September 2022, they actually had Sprite. I don't know if it was due to a supply chain issue and they couldn't get enough Sierra Mist or what was going on.

You do not pick a boarding time with Carnival. You pick an arrival appointment - meaning the time you expect to arrive at the cruise terminal. That is a very important distinction.

I am just glad I got to go on as many cruises as I did last year and the year before. The prices thus far this year and further into the future are not as compelling. Obviously everything is going up...not really complaining but also not really willing to pay these prices for Carnival's current product either.

Well I can't answer that, never had to deal with that.

Carnival's policy just says wine, it doesn't specify the flavor or alcohol content etc. So I would say it should be allowed without question. But it all comes down to what do the folks at the pier think.

Every time I've received OBC from a TA, it's been automatically loaded onto my S&S account for me. I didn't have to do anything and it was on the account at embarkation. You can give the gift cards to guest services for them to apply to your S&S bill, or the kiosk. You can do this at any point before you disembark, it doesn't have to be done on day 1 (assuming you don't run into the negative with a cash account).

Casino offers (really any VIFP offer) are not transferable to other people.

They don't leave the home port until the guest manifest is a settled matter.

You do NOT have to participate in the groove if you don't want to...you can just donate if you wish...the Groove for St Jude activity itself is entirely optional. Shirt sizes are varying from ship to ship right now so check with them as to what sizes they have. On my last cruise they only had XL for example.

Sounds to me like if you ever actually needed to use this policy they would not pay out. Good on you for reading it! Many people don't.
