Another Deer Bay Lake sunset (from last night) -

I meant to post this sooner but our router problems got in the way. Saturday's (8/20) sunset on Lower Buckhorn Lake (aka Deer Bay) -

The Sea View and Lido bars make awfully good Pusser's Pain Killers and Mojitos.

It is on the bar menu at $8.50 so it should be covered under the SBP

I think the NY Deli on Pinnacle class ships have (or used to have) a late night snack menu. It always sounded good but I was always too full from our 8pm fixed dining to give it a try!

We had a thunderstorm Sunday night. One bolt seemed to be right on top of us and there must have been some type of power surge because our router was dead in the morning! No internet on Monday, instead a trip in the rain to Peterborough's Costco for a replacement. At least it was on sale. We are now back up and running and trying to catch up. I did download a couple of the cauliflower steak recipes...

Would one of these be helpful? I wear them occasionally if my tendinitis flares up from too much tennis.

Hi Jacqui, As you probably know, the Rotterdam TA cruise in April of 2023 has been changed to a 150th Anniversary cruise with a complete change in the itinerary. So we are now on - Rotterdam - 03-Apr-23 - 21 day 150th Anniversary Transatlantic & North Sea Explorer And will be celebrating our 35th anniversary on the anniversary cruise! We also added the - Rotterdam - 24-Apr-23 - 12 day Scottish Adventure & Norse Legends Onto the end of the TA to make a 33 day "collector's" cruise. We were able to keep the same cabin for the entire cruise. So please delete - Rotterdam - 15-Apr-23 - 21 Day Azores & Normandy & Norse Legends Overhead Fred Since we are adding on to the TA cruise, we decided to drop our December Caribbean cruise. We have black squirrels instead of grey squirrels around our cottage in the Kawartha Lakes area.

I am sure it is an albino squirrel, they pop up around here every so often. I think the black squirrels are a different species of squirrel rather than a genetic oddity.

We now have a white squirrel running around our front yard in Saint Paul -

Kinda like a train wreck...

We had three trees taken down and several pine trees "cleaned up" on Tuesday. This was partly to prepare for our planned detached garage. But the back yard was also too shady and one of the trees was much too close to the house. There was a fair sized cedar in the back corner (already partially cut in the first picture, you can see the cherry picker) that had been butchered over the years by the power company to keep the electric lines clear. It was too ugly to keep and it was pushing up against the fence. We kept the wood from it for fire pit use, everything else was hauled away. Before - After -

We stopped in Monaco in April of 2018 while on the Koningsdam. We did a nice walking tour that went through a beautiful garden. If /when we get back there, I plan on checking out the aquarium and seeing how my restaurant is doing....

You will be happy with the sole, I thought it was excellent! I cannot recommend the lobster only because I am not a real lobster fan. Everything at Sel de Mer sounds good to me!

We are back in Saint Paul a day early. We were about to check out of the motel yesterday morning when the SIL called. She just came down with Covid so no stopping for our planned visit! She thinks she picked it up at an outdoor 4th of July event...
