  1. I couldn't help noticing that this is the same recipe as yesterday's "Paper Plane" cocktail. I too was apprehensive about @RedneckBob's potential responses! I did find this amongst several variations online, I don't think I'll be making it anytime soon - Suck Bang and Blow Ingredients 1 oz Jacquin's orange flavored gin 1 oz Rumple Minze peppermint liqueur 2 oz Goldschlager cinnamon schnapps 1 oz Jagermeister herbal liqueur 3 oz Jose Cuervo Especial gold tequila 1 oz Hpnotiq liqueur 1 oz Smirnoff vodka 1 oz Absolut Citron vodka 1 oz Aristocrat triple sec 1 whole Lime 5 oz strawberry daiquiri mix 2 cups Cranberry juice 1 cup Sugar Suck Bang and Blow Recipe stir all the ingredients together with ice pour into Hurricane glass halfway with ice The Suck Bang and Blow cocktail is a popular drink in the United States, especially in the southern states. It's also a popular drink in biker bars and clubs, due in part to its edgy name and reputation. The drink's origins are somewhat unclear, but it's believed to have been invented in the 1990s in South Carolina, specifically at a bar with the same name as the drink. The Suck Bang and Blow is famous for its bold and complex flavor profile, which comes from its unique combination of ingredients. The drink is also known for its distinctive appearance, which is often served in a hurricane glass and garnished with a slice of lime. 2. @sailingdutchy We will be seeing you and Martha soon!
  3. Has anyone heard from Linda (@lindaler)? She didn't respond to her BDay greetings and hasn't posted since December. She commented about a "minor family crisis" back then.
  4. The HAL Pils was pretty good. It seemed like an IPA with a bit less hoppy character than many IPAs. I had a few on our last cruise. It was particularly good with a Dive-In burger -
  5. If I remember correctly, there are different teas available and the savory/sweets offerings are a bit different. We certainly enjoyed it. I think this was from the Indonesian tea -
  6. Thank you! It looks like there are the usual suspects but with the addition of a "crew dish" and "vegetable of the day". I think I will find these quite interesting when we are on next year's version of this cruise. And Mitzi (DW) will definitely keep an eye on the "liquid dessert of the day" 🍹 No need to go out of your way to post more menus (but I would enjoy seeing them), this one answered my questions. Keep enjoying your cruise!
  7. I am of course aware that menus are viewable on the Navigator app. But they are somewhat generic and not specific to any particular ship or itinerary. I cannot find a way to see specific menus for any of HAL's ongoing sailings. If anyone knows how, please enlighten me 🙂. The current World and Australia & New Zealand Grand Voyages have some special offerings on the MDR menu (and perhaps the Lido too) as did our 150th Anniversary transatlantic cruise last April. So my request was to try to see if "Legendary" voyages have any similar unique menu offerings. TIA!
  8. And you can buy OBC using gift cards online before your cruise if you like.
  9. If somebody onboard has the chance, could you post some menus? Since this is a legendary cruise, I am curious to see if the MDR offerings are any different than "normal". Thanks!
  10. We stopped in Kona in 2017 and will be back again next February!
  11. Quick question - Do you get to keep the vase? Thinking about ordering some for DW when we are on this cruise next year! Thanks
  12. I had the same problem with a final payment in early January. Called reservation accounting and got it straightened out. But I had to do a bunch of gift cards over the phone! But on February 14, I was able use a gift card for a Morimoto pop-up reservation without any difficulties.
  13. We will be on this cruise next year! Looking forward to learning from your experiences & advice...
