See #36 on the prohibited items list. NCL does not allow any type of door decorations. Whether or not that is enforced is a different question. -

I recommend skipping the cruise tour. Instead go a week or 10 days early, rent a car and make up your own tour. You see what you want for as long as you want and are not tied to some schedule. Also suggest using the train for transport. Then when you are done on land book a one way southbound cruise from Seward to Vancouver.

I looked up OP’s cruise based on other post and didn’t see anything unusual about the pricing.

To a large extent it depends on where you are. I places like Santorini they are likely not going to allow friends to join because the process is so slow.

Not unusual for the Jade, they don’t open a dining room on embarkation day for lunch.

Get a cab or an Uber, and give them a nice tip for the short ride.

Switching between MIA and FLL is no big deal. Just get off first ship, grab a cab or Uber and 45 minutes later you are at checkin for the second ship. Don’t over think it. You have about 5 hours to go 20 miles.

You need to dig deeper, but I suspect you are not comparing apples to apples, even though the websites in question want you to believe that you are. -
The sail up the east side of Vancouver Island is much nicer than the open ocean out of Seattle.

I have read that the dining room isn’t open on the Jade, I haven’t seen that about any other ship.

It all depends. Some people swear by it, others won’t touch it. A lot of it depends on what you are looking for.

Never seen bottles, they don’t want to risk glass breakage. You might find some exceptions but most if not all will be cans.
