  1. Rely on the information you have from NCL not cruisemapper. NCL is accurate.
  2. Just book the cruise in the name that is on the passport.
  3. I haven't printed anything in 5 years for a cruise. It is all on my iPad and phone.
  4. Or maybe it is that high to limit the number of people,
  5. At least 50% of reservations are held for booking on the ship. You should have no problem booking when you get on board.
  6. I have never known NCL to check the names on excursion tickets. Do with that bit of info what you will.
  7. The service on NCL is like it is on the lines you describe. Best time to use it is between 2 a.m. and 8 a.m.
  8. They certainly cannot use a debit card of any kind (whether a regular debit card or a prepaid one) when actually making purchases on the ship, all charges are applied to your onboard account. In the past you could not use prepaid debit cards to set up your on board account, that may have changed. If you want them each to set up an account it is best to give them cash and let them set up their accounts that way.
  9. you can hot spot off of your phone, but you aren't dealing with a lot of bandwidth and are not likely to have good performance.
  10. Not a problem at all, as long as only one is logged in at a time.
  11. All cruise lines do thing like this. they book the cheapest flights that they can, and don't really care about the passenger. They are in the cruise business not the airline business and book as a courtesy to you not because they get anything out of it. You should never use cruise air on any cruise line.
  12. I tend to agree with you. Why do I think that the TA never paid NCL?
  13. Cabins are larger on CCL. Itineraries are similar. NCL is 100% free style dining whereas CCL has both fixed and anytime dining. The ships on NCL tend to be a bit nicer, but having sailed both numerous times you won't find a lot of difference in the two lines, though I think you get more bang for your buck on NCL.
  14. The problem you are going to have is the time the ship is in port.
  15. Find a price that you are happy with and then make a decision. Prices and add on perks can change at any time.
  16. Is there any reason that you can't book the transfer and just show up at the airport the morning of the cruise if you fly in a day early? I realize that you have to give them incorrect flight info but that is easy to figure out.
  17. You can go by the minute the last day but it may not be worth it especially if you already ave seats assigned. Just check in when you dock using your phone, then you don't have to worry about fees.
  18. Check the schedule mentioned above. It will detail the refund you are entitled to receive.
  19. Don't expect too much in the way of decorations. You might have a Christmas tree but not much more. Having cruised at Christmas the ship is not really decorated.
  20. I was on it about 15 minutes ago and had no problem. If the app truly won't work get on a PC and log in to NCL.com
  21. Unless NCL has recently changed their processes they do not offer the service.
  22. I would not anticipate a price decrease. As others have mentioned you are more likely to see a price increase or a sold out situation.
  23. It’s like that on every line I’ve sailed on, nothing special on NCL
  24. to some degree it depends on when you are sailing. You never know until you ask. You have nothing to lose.
