  1. Try Yankee Seafood in Boston, it's about 3 blocks from where the ship docks. Just check out their website for all the info you need.
  2. What's a love thread? It's not going be kinky, is it?
  3. Or see the LA once they get onboard. They with issue her a new card with her updated status.
  4. I think it's cheaper to put up the rope, than pay someone to stand guard. Other than that, I don't care. It doesn't affect my cruise experience in any way.
  5. Cruise critic can't do anything for you. Why don't you contact Royal?
  6. They've usually rum based. They're advertised in the compass on a daily basis. But don't buy them on the pool deck because they sometimes are premixed in gallon jugs.
  7. Did it ruin your experience in any way?
  8. Probably not any fireworks on the ship if that's what you're thinking. Too much of a fire risk and insurance would not allow it. They haven't't put sparklers on the baked Alaska for at least,15 years for the same reason.
  9. Do the shops at the new straw market inside the port area have anything different than what is sold at the original one? How is the prices? I missed the opening last month by a few days.
  10. Not trying to take over but no wheelchairs or carts at Cape Canaveral.
  11. WE were also on the May 21st sailing. Shows may be full now (like ours were), but a whole mess of them will open up when you board. Don't worry about it.
  12. Tell Yuda (the server in the DL) that DJ and his family said hello. We were a family of 15 that was there 2 weeks ago most nights closing it up. He took great care of us, even when he was just cleaning up. Take good care of him and you'll be set for the week.
  13. You can try JR's for breakfast. There's no charge and it wasn't too crowded two weeks ago.
  14. After visiting the caves, walk two blocks to the Swizzle Inn for lunch, get conch fritters and a pitcher of rum swizzles. From there, take the bus to the museum/aquarium. Then take the bus to Hamilton and the ferry back to the dockyard. Buy the transportation pass in advance and your total transportation will be about $15 for the day. There's a lot going on but you'll thoroughly enjoy yourself for a reasonable price.
  15. Look for gate 5. It's right in front of the main entrance. There's a beveled curb there which makes it easier to push your grandson from the car to the walkway into the terminal.
  16. Some random thoughts. Compare the total cost of the cruise, not individual components. What ports are in each cruise, and do you what to see those ports? Are you driving? Much cheaper to park in Bayonne. Keep in mind this is a Royal board. You use a travel agent for a reason. Listen to her.
  17. No issues on the Oasis two weeks ago. My wife is a snob and knows the difference.
  18. No. Just an small extra discount.
  19. That's the Stowaway Piano player. They're on all Oasis class ships I believe.
  20. If you get shut out before the cruise, you have the opportunity to book as soon as you get on board. They free up a whole new bunch of seats for the water and ice shows. I did it two weeks ago with no problem.
  21. FYI... They had Blanton's for sale on the Oasis two weeks ago. It wasn't on display, but if you asked the person behind the register, he would get it for you. It was $110, but I didn't get any because I got three bottles in San Maarten in February for $80 each.
