  1. I think Bayonne is easier. In Bayonne it's much easier to be dropped off to enter the terminal. You'll also take an elevator from the terminal to get to the gangway to board the ship. In Boston you go up a ramp from street level to board the ship. Depending on the tide, the ramp can be very steep.. it's more difficult for the person pushing the wheel chair.
  2. You're right. Didn't have caffeine in me when I replied.
  3. Sometimes they are open like 9-1 and call it a brunch sering breakfast as well as lunch items.
  4. Shipyard Brewery and a train ride are just blocks away.
  5. If Capt Ante has a bad hair piece, I can confirm he was on the Oasis last week as well.

    Food Tours

In Nassau, just take a cab or jitney to fish fry. I was there last week. The food was fresh and reasonably priced.
  7. As soon as you get out of the cruise port area, you will see plenty of vendors selling all kinds of tours. Pricing can be negotiable. It's usually whatever the market will bear. If they don't like one vendors price, they can go to another. Last week my son and I negotiated a Can-Am dune buggy from $350 down to $225. You don't know until you try.
  8. Keep in mind that the smaller vendors will accept US currency but give you change in Canadian without the exchange rate. You take a big hit on that.
  9. I second Becky's and Holy Donuts in , Portland. Then go to Shipyard Brewery to wash it all down. Try the lobster Mac and Cheese and Yankee Seafood in Boston and then walk over to Harpoon Brewery for their tour and tastings
  10. What if any compensation was given to the passengers onboard the cruise?
  11. Last fall, Royal didn't offer the shuttle. And Old Town Trolley wasn't allowed in. I had to take a taxi to Fanuil Hall.
  12. It's on the side of the,Straw Market.
  13. Dockers and a collared shirt will suffice. I've seen men in dirty shorts, white t shirts, and flip flops on dress your best night and staff didn't say a word.
  14. Keep in mind that the Music Hall on the Oasis was carved out during the 2.0 Amp while the one on the Odyssey was pre planned in the new build.
  15. Your article is dated Dec 2, 2022. It's an old news story.
  16. Thanks for everyone's help. I emailed Mona and she got back to me in less than a hour saying the request was forwarded to the Oasis staff. But I still intend to check as soon as we board on Sunday.
  17. The majority of them are rum based drinks. But be careful, some are pre,-mixed and may contain cheap off brand ingredients.
  18. Thanks. I will forward the original email with all my additional re-sends to both of them and see what happens.
  19. You must have had a bad day, they do occur. But two weeks ago, our wait was less than 5 minutes. I cruise from Bayonne six to eight times a year. My average wait is 10-15 minutes, and that's not an issue for me
  20. I've been try to contact dining reservations at the above address since May 1st. I've yet to hear back from them. I'm trying to combine 16 people across six cabins at 2 tables (either 10 and 6, or 8 and 8). The cruise is leaving this Sunday, the 21st. The rooms were linked together when they were originally booked. Is there anything else I can do or contact? I know if wait until boarding on Sunday it will never happen because the tables have already been assigned. This is a family reunion that has been planned for 3 years.
  21. We're both D+, yet last month on the Anthem we just got three for the room. It seems there isn't any continuity.
  22. 888 taxi is right outside the terminal. You can get a taxi or take their shuttle to Ron Jon.
  23. The garage will be handicap only. Where you are told to park will vary from day to day depending by volume and schedule.
  24. Any mention if she will be late getting to Cape Liberty on Sunday?
