  1. Thank you for all of this information on your experience. We will also be doing this excursion next week and it was one I was having second thoughts about. We did pick the 7:00 a.m. option as we are really very early birds and then it leaves us time to shop at the dock. Was there a cost for the chairs and umbrella?
  2. Do not forget the mozzarella sticks that used to be available at O'Sheehans! Not on the same level as the American Diner ones, but at least they were on the menu.
  3. I really hope there will be cookies on the Encore next week. We do enjoy them and have never thrown them away!
  4. Also note that the luggage tags do say on them what color they are supposed to be.
  5. At the Miami new NCL terminal, is there a separate check in line for priority loyalty status and then another waiting area for said status? The last time we left out of Miami, we were in a Haven cabin and it was when you had to take a covid test right before getting on the ship so things were a lot different. I also remember reading that there is only one bathroom that is always open but there is another one located in another area that sometimes you can get to, but I do not remember any more specifics about the bathroom situation in the waiting area. Any update on the bathroom situation would be appreciated.
  6. We have never had an issue with any bartender on any ship (or land vacations) make the drink directly in our Yetis. We do use another cup to fill them at the buffet when getting coffee or water.
  7. Thank you for the Video. I just re-booked an Ocean Villa at Silver Cove this morning when I got to work for our Encore cruise this Sunday. I had one booked originally but cancelled it as I was not sure I wanted to spend that much money for just the two of us. My husband has no idea. Re-reading this thread today, is the procedure still to get on the tram to take you to the check in at Silver Cove? I just do not want us to be walking around aimlessly trying to figure out where to go.

  10. Did you have to sign up for priority tendering and did you receive it from your status?
  11. On our March 2023 Epic cruise they sold 18 passes. As Haven passengers, we were the second family at guest services to buy passes for our extended family not staying in the Haven. There were no passes available for the fourth family that showed up. My point is the passes went within ten minutes upon boarding. They were $59 then but raised the price dramatically since then.

  13. Thank you. I do not remember, but I do know if there were two options, I definitely would of chosen the earlier option. We are early birds and then we would like the extra time when we get back to do a little shopping at the port.
  14. We are booked on this excursion also in two weeks as we have also done the Baths previously and wanted beach time. I was second guessing our decision, but now I am 100% glad we decided to book it. Was it easy to get a nice spot on the beach with lounge chairs and an umbrella? Thank you for posting the pictures.
  15. We booked our 2-bedroom Haven on the Epic in April 2022. The price dropped a total of 9 times for a savings of $3,416.29 between our booking and final payment. We took advantage of every price drop. And the ship was at 100% capacity. I think everyone should book a cabin/category they are comfortable with but do price checks continuously.
  16. Thank you for the update. Wow. Very happy for you that persistently paid off. Not happy that NCL kept telling you it was sold out when it was not sold out. Love the line "I hate to see you waste your money. Have you considered that spice H2O has everything the vibe has at no charge?" Very similar to the other famous poster that always makes the same claim but has yet to acknowledge ever having firsthand Vibe experience. Again, there is not anywhere else on the ship that offers the same services including the Haven sundeck. Happy the weather got better, and you are enjoying yourself in and out of the Vibe.
  17. Thank you for the suggestion. I really did not want to spend our first afternoon on the pool deck, but I also want my husband to have a good seat to watch the game. I am thinking if we board early (as priority status), make our platinum tour reservation and have our traditional first lunch at the Local, we should still be good for two decent seats. Two years ago on the Joy, it was a near empty ship so there was not an issue getting a good seat anytime. We are huge vibe fans and will not cruise without passes on any ship that has a Vibe. Before being able to buy them online, our success rate was 100%. However, the pictures you showed of serenity look very relaxing and more impressive to me than the Haven sundecks we have been on. Hope you are having a wonderful time and thank you for all of the updates.

  19. We would not have given up our seats either! I think we will park ourselves on the pool deck a couple of hours before the game. We can take turns wondering off. We just have to pull ourselves out of the Vibe, which is our happy place, to go the ciaos of the pool deck.
