  1. Fellow Long Islander here who also loves Bermuda cruises wishing you a wonderful cruise! Looking forward to your updates.
  2. Great! Please report back your thoughts and have a wonderful time.
  3. This is what I would do if we ever booked a cruise within final payment.
  4. And the future cruise has to be completed in 52 weeks.
  5. Agree. This poster has continually been anti-Vibe.
  6. I believe it is now $249 for a 7 day. When we reserved our passes last July for our June 2024 Joy sailing, they were $229. Last month I added another cabin to our group sailing and the new price for the passes were $249. But it does fluctuate as you said.
  7. I would definitely make a Plan B and then apply the FCC as @tsahall01suggested if the Getaway is indeed cancelled.
  8. We are also on this sailing with extended family--13 in total. And we all already have our Vibe passes!
  9. Passes can be prepurchased up to 12/31/24. I would not wait until boarding.
  10. Your opinion, same as always. There is a reason there was always a mad rush to obtain the passes. And a reason NCL keeps raising the price and passengers, like myself, are willing to pay the price.
  11. It is a wonderful way to spend an embarkation afternoon. Just make sure you have your bathing suit in your carryon.
  12. I have!!! My daughter made me try one on the Epic this past March and I am really looking forward to having another one on the Jewel in August.
  13. My son and husband were not impressed with the beer selection on the Epic this past March but were always happy the two times we were on the Escape with the DBH.
  14. No pool in the Joy Vibe, but two hot tubs with one on each side. They also have the water mist shower to cool you off.
  15. Have you ever done this excursion before? I did look on the list you previously posted in this thread and did not see it. I have been going back and forth on booking it when we are on the Jewel in August and just booked it a few days ago.
  16. Thank you for taking the time to report back on your experience and thoughts. As New Yorkers, we love taking a Bermuda run from New York. We have never looked into getting a transportation pass before. How much was it and were did you buy it? Our next Bermuda run is next June with extended first timer Bermuda cruisers and I am thinking this might be a good option as the first day everyone wants to go to St. George and Hamilton.
  17. It was a southern cruise leaving out of Puerto Rico which left on March 19th. My morning routine of price checking paid off!
  18. We repriced 9 times for our March 2023 Epic cruise and saved a total of $3,416.29. The price adjustments ranged from $60 to $1,251.90. The only thing that changed sometimes was the loyalty points awarded, but I was after the savings, rather than the points. Then after final payment, I requested and received a $640 FCC when the price went down again.
  19. This is correct. Regarding the required age, in March, the age requirement was 18, not 16. We stayed in a Haven category and purchased passes for our extended family. They said the age rules are the same as the Vibe and not the Haven sundeck. On all deck plans, it is called Posh and not the Haven sundeck. However, your 17 year old will have no issue walking in with you., I just do not think her cabin card will unlock the door. This was OUR experience.
  20. Got it back this morning and already applied it!
