Any News on when the E-Brochure for Pre-registration will be issued?. Saga stated "Coming soon" over ten days ago & the Cruises won't be on General Sale until at least 4 weeks after the E-Brochure is issued. I do think Saga miss a trick by appearing late compared with other Cruise Lines who have had 2025 & even some 2026 dates on sale months ago!.
  6. Not only Green Beans being cultivated on Deck Chickens are being raised too!.
  7. The Evening Menu is more like a Canteen one. Cottage Pie & Ham & Mash Potatoes!

Max Discount @35% virtually guaranteed @pre registration stage. Generally the higher the Deck the dearer the Cabin. Obviously the longer the Cruise then more expensive. Canaries are usually the cheapest due to high number of sailings. This year at launch the cheapest Cabins, to the Canaries, were around £220pp per night.
  9. Providing your Cruise has at least one Non UK Port Duty Free is available.
  10. If a non UK Port is included in the Cruise & is then cancelled during the Cruise Duty Free is still available.
  11. Staff are recruited via Southampton. Around £65 to see the Doctor (privately) is about the going rate with most Cruise Lines,
  12. The "exorbitant fees" you quote are as a result of getting what is effectively private health care!
  13. Just to rub salt into the wounds Viking final payment in the UK is 3 months from Sailing!
  14. Soon it will be Bed & Breakfast & pay for everything else!. Dumming Down or what!.
  15. Due out of Portsmouth @10.00am on route to Funchal according to Port Schedule.
  16. In Alta you are usually docked next to the Airport. The Captain has to get clearance from Air Traffic Control before docking!.
  17. Dun Laoghaire is a Tender Port with bus shuttle into Dublin Centre taking around 30-40 mins dependant on traffic.
  18. They usually have one Red & one White as a "Wine of the Day" which are usually from 3 white,2 Red & a Rose. If you like a particular one they will serve that to you on request. The Whites are Pinot/Chardonay/Savignon Blanc.
  19. On Aurora Sindhu is located where the Library used to be .
  20. There are no restricted views on E-Deck other than the first eight cabins either side at the front (you can see out but not down because of Promenade Deck "skirt") & some of these are used for visiting entertainers. Sun Deck can be noisy with passengers walking through to Pool etc & up very high in poor weather.
  21. Saga have announced that both Ships will have the Starlink Wi-Fi system installed this year.
