  1. When my son was little he saw The Little Mermaid in the theater. Then we got the tape for the car and listened to Under the Sea over and over and over again. I actually like the song the first hundred times. After that I kept hoping the tape would break, but no it kept on going and going. Eventually he outgrew it but I am sure it is responsible for several of my gray hairs. Lol
  2. I bake my bacon in the oven. Turns out so much nicer and it is a lot easier. I also pack a wide variety of medications to cover most common illnesses.
  3. It is very frustrating and there is no rhyme or reason to the exclusions. Last year I was excluded from a beach excursion that I had done in the past. It included eating, drinking, beach chairs and a shallow walk in beach. But hey there was an adrenaline packed zip line adventure I could book.
  4. You can use your vouchers at any bar and at the coffee shop. If you don't want to use your vouchers for coffee, sodas or water be sure to tell them when ordering that you don't want to use your voucher. We don't really drink that much especially on port days so I will use my voucher for other drinks if it looks like I will not use them all.
  5. While it wouldn't hurt to bring the divorce decree the more important document is the marriage license. They dont care if you are divorced in this case since there was no name change. They just care that the names match on all the documents or there is a bridging document explaining why they don't. It is also important that these match the booking name.
  6. We enjoy the Key and usually get it. We want internet and wifi calling. Our last cruise there was an added benefit. Key West was our last port and everyone had to go through immigration on the ship. Once you got your sea pass punched you could go ashore. We showed up at our designated spot and were immediately taken to immigration. People with excursions were next. Then all the other people had to gather in different areas and wait until their numbers were called. We put our passports back in our safe and were one of the first off the ship. The last day we had a lovely quiet breakfast and were on our way before any numbers had even been called. We have way too much luggage to ever do self assist.
  7. Only if you changed your name when you got married. If there is any difference between your birth certificate and photo id you need the bridging document.
  8. We have been known to drink from garden hoses. I might pass on the fried rat.
  9. I would think that mixing your sunscreen with water would dilute the sunscreen and lead to an uneven or ineffective application. We bring a full size bottle along with a spray for your scalp on Caribbean trips. We just got back from a cruise with 3 beach days in a row and had no sun burns. Plus the 2 sea days spent at the pool.
  10. I like Aveeno moisturizer. The container it comes in isn't that big compared to some.of the other things we bring so I don't repackage it. I don't do laundry or dishes on a cruise but I do rinse out my commuter coffee cup.
  11. Please send the bread basket to my table. There are never enough rolls with the pumpkin seeds on them and they are my favorites.
  12. I also thought it would be fun to be on Survivor. Then the reality of the fact that I hate to camp, hate to be dirty, hate to be hungry and dislike idiots kept me from ever thinking about applying. I told my husband we could do Amazing Race if they had a version that had no physical challenges, no dancing or singing challenges and no memorization challenges. We are pretty good at navigation and puzzles. Lol
  13. Never mind my previous question. I am used to cats showing up and never leaving. We seem to be the homeless cat magnet of the neighborhood.
  14. Back from our cruise. Had the best time in Nassau and would go back again. Cocoa Day was a nice relaxing beach day. Grand Bahamas was just meh Key West was hot but enjoyed key lime pie at Blue Heaven and the butterfly house. The trolley was a great way to get around. We had a wonderful state room attendent. The MDR was super slow service but got better the last couple of days. We always found a table by the pool for sea days. The entertainment was okay. Didn't care for the bands much. I realize it is because none of them played any country music. Maybe we need to cruise out of Galveston for that.
