Compare the prices/options on getting to Vancouver then decide Rent a car /parking for the length of the cruise Take the bust from Seattle to Vancouver How much of your time is it worth to do all the extra travelling For me I would fly to YVR or find a cruise out of Seattle JMO

I agree Maybe check with your TA or Oceania I am passed that point it will be a bigger chunk of change if we have to cancel

Might just be too early This year they have the Molino & the St Regis Prices are PP so take that into account You probably can do better on your own JMO

Check the website for you sailing & under the HOTEL tab it shows what hotels they use pre & post cruise It may be too early to see the hotels but you can check cruise this year for Venice to see what ones they use I believe it is usually the Molino Stucky They usually have a transfer to the airport so you could book your own hotel in Venice proper & take a water taxi or the land but from the airport

Maybe they have reservations because the space is small ?? How many seats are in Ember can you imagine if it was like your local diner & if people want a sit down meal after tours it may be lined up down the hall or maybe not ?? I will reserve judgement until I try it but so far it looks good to me We do not go to Jacques or Red Ginger so does not leave many options for us polo & Toscana are the same old same old looking forward to trying Ember YMMV

you can buy "bottle bags" they are padded I take 2 with me incase we find something we cannot get at home

It was 3 days prior & 3 days post cruise unless that has changed again In any case the poster has cancelled the air so moot point of the whys

I thought they were allowing people to fly in up to 3 days prior with no charge ? unless you want to choose the flights But yes I agree not enough info

If you have a GTY you will be on the ship someplace If all PH sellout they will make offers to pax to move off the sailing They may offer upsells to the suites or downsells if lower categories are still open If people are going to cancel they should do it a month before final payment so they do not lose their deposit (not everyone reads the fine print ) You do not need to take the new perk that is coming July 1st unless you want to JMO

Can you clarify the extra charge ?? Did you book hotel package with O or is it something else ? What is your airport you would fly from?
