  1. @Saint Greg.... BIG Happy Birthday 🎂....sorry I don't do politics, but your birthday DEFINITELY 😁
  2. @MeganGC1983....safe travels home to the kiddos! This has been a memorable trip for sure, so glad you got the opportunity to take the cruise! You are a hard worker in deed even when on vacation! The photos of Greece are stunning and traveling outside the US looks amazing, except for the long long journey to get across the pond!
  3. @TxTeach79...glad you have returned among the living...hope you got a good night's rest!
  4. @MeganGC1983....AMAZING photos! BUT from one senior gal to a young senior gal...those sandals will destroy your knees as you get older, take it from a gal who's walked in them and just had knee replacement surgery! Proceed with CAUTION!
  5. Nope, gave up riding about 5 years ago, too many drivers on their phones or texting, no longer felt safe on a bike. We now have taken up off roading with our Honda Pioneer side by side and we love it! Do not miss motorcycle at all. We've done the arches etc and we are now further north for the summer in Helper, Utah. Famous for coal mining and now oil production, FANTASTIC small town all the way around just like we like it! Cruise to Hawaii in January baby!
  6. @TxTeach79..and @HelloItsMeB...welcome HOME! Thank you BOTH for taking us along on this AMAZING trip! Back to reality, sigh,...but oh what memories you have created. Now onto your next adventure, I for one can't wait! This has been my FAVORITE Live ever!
  7. We also watched Creed III last night, I actually enjoyed the movie and I am not a fan of any kind of physical fighting...good story line!
  8. @MeganGC1983....I will be interested to read in your wrap up after you are home and rested your opinion of overseas travel for a 7 day cruise. I would think that a longer cruise of B2B might be warranted if one is going thru all the trouble like you did to fly from USA to across the pond...your 7 day cruise seemed to FLY by!
  9. @Fishbone.....being a Floridan I had the same weather worries on my first cruise in Alaska as you did. We had a balcony, we cruised the Inside Passage and honestly we did not spend much time out on the balcony, just too cold for us. When we were in Glacier Bay it was super cold, the closer we got the more we felt the cold. I wore t-shirt under a sweater and a windbreaker and I was fine on deck with my hat and gloves. Heck I even hit the hot tub on deck...they were VERY popular. Enjoy your trip Alaska is stunning for sure and if it helps easy your weather woes Florida is wet wet wet as well. As for me I am in central Utah where it is BEAUTIFUL!
  10. Same here, we cruise to Hawaii January 2024 and 2025 looking at using Turo as well.
  11. @MeganGC1983....dang girl that went by TOO FAST!
  12. @Fishbone....as a Floridian who visited Anchorage for the first time in 2009 and again in 2014. I wore my hat and gloves everyday! On the ship it was even colder! Anchorage is beautiful.....if you get a chance a great family activity is to bike ride on the Tony Knowles trail, this is where we had our first encounter with a Moose! Also great place for food is F Street Station!
  13. @Stealthdog...we really enjoy Stanley Park. How were the flowers, in the past they have been spectacular.
  14. Oh man what rock have I been under all 100 pages, I thought all this back and forth was over the "other" live guy not the kitty guy!
  15. Trust me those "northern" waters can be dangerous any time of the year! Not to mention COLD!
  16. Absolutely spot on....and I think Americans are in the minority with ice in their beverages.
  17. @TravelBluebird...I will"date" myself I remember cruising Carnival when capaccino was FREE...!
  18. @TravelBluebird...I am sorry but that prime rib does not look edible in my book.
  19. @TxTeach79....I had a SERIOUS jaw drop when I saw those waffles....I hope they tasted as good as they looked. Darn I am going to have SERIOUS withdrawal after this review comes to a close...what on earth are you going to do with your time when you get back home! When is your next adventure on a ship! BEST LIVE I have followed in a LONG TIME...thanks so much for sharing your vacation and @HelloItsMeB with us!
  20. @TxTeach79......you still seem a bit tired leftover from your BIG day in Amsterdam........like you could use a soak in a nice hot tub. Great pics, enjoy your day, hope you get some chill time in as well. This is a FANTASTIC review!
  21. @TxTeach79...and @HelloItsMeB..what a FANTASTIC day, room service tonight will be your friend!
