    Kona today we did a private tour Kona Brewery... fantastic tour. Hank our guide was amazing. They are a very sustainable company. We got free beer samples and plenty of time for photos. Never felt the earthquake but. We slept in this morning recovering from our tour yesterday.

    We are on our first cruise to Hawaii. In Honolulu we took the city bus no problem at all. It is not too far of a walk from the pier. The port in Honolulu is huge but the bldg is empty. I downloaded the Bus app. Cash only no change provided.

    @canadianbear...NOT filled with custard..that is my all time favorite but this is just outstanding IMO.

    Came down to BB Kings to read.....ukulele lessons going on..dress rehearsal for stage presentation tomorrow.

    I will try to get an interior pic but it won't be pretty I destroyed it enjoying 3/4 first sitting. Put rest in refrig for later...inside is like a whipped cream but not real sweet perfect flavor Won't be back in my room until after 5 pm so stay tuned.

    @Haljo1935..thought you'd be interested...we have a Yorkie service dog on this cruise...he is wheeled around in a stroller!

    Seating in the World Stage is very comfy and no bad spots...no poles etc.

    Attended port talk with Kristen yesterday. Very informative and interesting in that she does not push HAL excursions. She offer things to see and do and how to get around the port etc. for someone who this is our first time to the islands I found it extremely interesting and helpful.

    The first night the dance show was rescheduled due to ship movement. I stead we had a comedian and he was great. Will see him again and take some pics then. Very funny. Now at Coffee Talk with Kristen.

    BB Kings is one of our favorites for the music and energy. Seniors really know how to have a good time!

    Beatles Tribute was a lot of fun good tunes for sure lots of energy!

    Clocks went back one hour last night. Seas are calmer this morning. Enjoying ourselves for sure. Crows Nest this morning now at talk with Chefs!

    I have a spa pass for the duration of the cruise. I have visited both days before noon not busy at all. I am guessing because of the ship rolling so much from the swells. Plus it seems folks are more laid back. We went up for breakfast on Lido this morning and it was pretty quiet.. now when I walked back to our cabin thru Lido at 1 pm it was wall to wall cruisers eating. Food has been plentiful and good. Tonight is the first formal night.

    We have a balcony room on deck 8. We don't dine in dining room by choice. We use room service for coffee and sometimes lunch. Comedian last night was great. Attended a game show that was a lot of laughs. BB Kings is awesome. Today we attended How to Wear Your Sarongs...very interesting and audience participation. Now we are at Travel talk on what to see and do in port. Very interesting that they are not pushing HAL tours these are in your own things to do. Again very informative. First cruise for us with the Have It All...easy and for us worth it. Hope you don't mind others sharing on your live. If you do I apologize and will move on.

    We are on this cruise. We drove in day of sailing We opted to wait until the masses passed. We pulled into port dropped off our luggage, returned rental car.to airport, took city bus back to port. Arrived at port 1:30 walked right in no crowds at all walked onto ship no wait room ready and with 5 minutes our luggage arrived...easiest embarkation ever in 30+ cruises. We don't need or want to be 1st on the ship or with the masses.

    Whew I will have something to read after our cruise and I have cruise withdrawal!

    @TravelBluebird...wonderful news uneventful flights so far. Continued safety for your final legs of travel back to your home and recoup time. Our cruise starts today, so we are up super early with excitement.
