    I tried to claim shareholder OBC for my Februrary 2025 cruise in the app, that got me a pop-up saying come back in November you can only claim for cruises up to Dec 31st, so yes bending, but suggesting that there is a 3 month rule at the same time.

    No. Currently Stockperks is only available via mobile app (Android and iOS). However, Stockperks is developing an email and web based process that guests will be able to use in lieu of the app and this is expected sometime in March

    I wonder how all the folk without the technology to use this App, will manage. I have the technology, although possibly not the know how, but will continue using the same method I started with, a year ago.

     

    It doesn't seem broken, so I won't try and fix it. 🙂

    Below is some further information to assist you with understanding a little more about Stockperks.
    What is Stockperks?
    Stockperks is an app-based marketplace that connects public companies like Carnival with their retail investors. Companies create unique perks, like onboard credit for Carnival brand cruises, to reward their loyal shareholders.

    Why is Carnival partnering with Stockperks?
    Carnival has a successful shareholder benefit program with a high number of requests coming through each month which are currently all managed manually, therefore resulting in a longer response time for our guests.
    Stockperks offers a much more automated and streamlined process ensuring these requests can be handled in a much more efficient way.
    For reference, guests will follow these simple steps to submit their claim:

    1. Download the app via the links on the webpage, or search for “Stockperks” in the app store
    2. Once downloaded, create a Stockperks user profile
    3. Then search for “Carnival” in the app, and select the cruise line the guest is traveling on
    4. Click the blue button “Validate your portfolio” and they will be guided through the process of providing their CCL ownership details
    5. Once confirmed, they can submit their claim for each eligible booking

    Is Stockperks available on desktop?

    QA is an unknown as yet, we don't travel on her until November - But for QV 

     

    Assuming you're in Britannia

    Bottled water is very expensive, but room service is free and if like Jane you drink lots then you can always request a jug of iced water for the fridge.

    If your waistline can handle it, the pizza/pasta station in the lido is excellent at lunch

    Obviously Afternoon Tea is a must at least once in the Queens Room

    If you don't fancy any of the items on the Dinner menu, there is an always available list including Sirloin Steak, Chicken, Caesar salad, etc (I've never not found anything I don't fancy)

    Check the daily programme, there will be stuff on there you don't realise, until it's too late Fancy a go at fencing classes - it's harder work than you would think ? Watercolours? etc

    Fancy a cookie with a Lido tea or coffee? Speak to the waiter on the sandwich station as they generally have a secret stash

    Grab a book from the library saves bringing your own assuming you're not a Kindle person

  6. Just a quick question regarding hairdryers, do Dyson Airwraps work  onboard ? Asking for someone less follically challenged than myself who heard that Airwraps don't work. Her Hot Hairdryer worked fine on last years cruises and was given the OK by the steward to use it and she wants to take her new toy with her in November.

  8. I had it on QE while waiting to go on our Northern Lights excursion (2022), It was very disappointing, which was unlike every other time I've tried it at lunch, the base was very biscuity.

  9. I applied for my Shareholder OBC last month for our November QA cruise and was told that it was only available for cruises up July 31st, which I took to mean that the benefit hadn't been renewed yet. I reapplied this morning on the news that the benefit has now been approved and I now wait with baited breath. I haven't applied for our Feb 2025 QM2 cruise though given this t=round of benefit is only approved up until Dec 31st

  10. I usually take a couple of films/TV Series on a USB stick, these were a godsend when we were quarantined for Covid on our Northern Lights cruise. The USB ports are accessible, but it is very fiddly as stated above, and it's best to have one of the longer types to help slotting it into the port, you'll struggle with one of the mini types, depending on the size of your hands

    Your shareholder benefit has been applied and a revised booking confirmation that will show the added on board credit has been sent.
    As you have booked directly with us you will receive this via your personal email address or by post.
    Cunard - Sailings of 6 days or less $50. 7-13 days $100. 14 days or longer $250

I spoke to Cunard yesterday to add my Ex Forces OBC to our two upcoming cruises and I asked about the Shareholder OBC and was told just to email shareholderbenefits@carnivalukgroup.com with proof of my shareholding - I did that and I got an acknowlegement email back, so I shall report back if it was successful

    And the Broadwalk Cafe too - QE and QV there's a machine either side of the buffet (just aft of the Pizza/Pasta station), though it's pot luck if they are working or not.

    I was looking for it too, but there is no mention of any drinks other than paid for beverages - but it gives an idea what is available from room service for people that unfamiliar
