  1. On the late August option I definitely would not prioritize an aft cabin. The last time we had an SV cabin was last year, early September, in Greece/Italy/Turkey. The balcony was unbearably hot. We had to leave the curtains closed all day. I sat on the balcony maybe 10 minutes in 11 days.
  2. This is such an odd sentiment on this board. The reality is the older "loyal" passengers are on an uphill battle. Celebrity started scraping the 14 night Caribbean routes years ago. The older loyalists are no longer filling ships. That customer is diminishing. These people may fit into several buckets. They may no longer be living, physically unable to travel, financially unable to travel, needing to work later in life has eliminated their free time, still unwilling to travel due to COVID, etc. They aren't doing this at the expense of anyone. No one is precluded from cruising by Celebrity because the ads aren't filled with pictures of senior citizens. If the money and passengers were flocking to 21 day cruises, they would offer them.
  3. She isn't a CEO. You need to go up a level to Jason Liberty. Their 3 main goals through year end 2025 are presented plain as day and it has nothing to do with providing more off-menu freebies to Sky Suites.
  4. Not accurate according to anything Celebrity has put out. There is nothing for early 2025 in South America. Swamping Equinox for Eclipse also doesn't make a whole lot of sense. My guess is if there was a South America offering they would bring Infinity back. The year round Med isn't a big seller so far. Since there was nothing mentioned about changes to the Infinity sailing yesterday, this may not be all that likely.
  5. The top market areas (catchment areas) for each type of Caribbean cruise; i.e. the top geographical areas where customers are coming from. The Summit changes are for late 2024 into early 2025, not the current winter 2023/2024 season. San Juan departures are being canceled and the ship relocated to Port Everglades. There still may be a San Juan shoulder season in Oct/Nov/Dec of 2024.
  6. I wouldn't be so sure about that. The top market areas for Caribbean cruises are 80% from Florida. I would also question the New York population. This very well could be a significant number of people who use a NY address to book their cruise but essentially live in FL (at least during winter months). 7 night Caribbean 1. Miami, FL 2.   7. 👍 there’s a push to transition upwards through the ranks to Silversea. Without some substantial changes to the product (sound familiar?) it’s a difficult sell, even for frequent upper suite Celebrity customers.

  9. Celebrity doesn't seem too committed to San Juan. I know there are a growing number of people who want to sail Caribbean routes while avoiding Florida. But, Summit is a hot charter ship and it's easier to get US clients to charter from Florida than it is to transport guests to San Juan. I would not be surprised at all to see some of the new winter 2025 Summit sailing ultimately get canceled.
  10. The itineraries I posted don’t show Coco Cay but the rest of the material released does. I can’t imagine they would not visit.
  11. Follow the money. Read the last 10Q. 7 day Caribbean (plus Coco Cay) is what is bringing in the money for RCG.
  12. These changes all pertain to late 2024/early 2025. The upcoming Constellation season for late 2023/early 2024 have not been changed.
  13. The other threads are getting muddy so here are the highlights (maybe lowlights - depending on who you are) of changes announced today. Equinox - 2025 season shifts from South America to Port Canaveral. -No ship has been announced for 2025 South America -Equinox does mostly 7 night cruises from Port Canaveral including Coco Cay Summit - the winter 24/25 season will move from San Juan to Fort Lauderdale. -There are still some gaps in the schedule or what they have posted isn't fully updated -5/7/9 night routes Apex - the October 2024 dry dock will be pushed out to March 2025. -A new fall TA will go on sale next week (Southhampton to FLL) -4 new 6 and 7 night Caribbean cruises will go on sale including Coco Cay Constellation - canceling the 9/12 night Caribbean routes -ship remains in Tampa -shifts to mostly 7 night Caribbean itineraries New deployments should go on sale next Thursday 8/22.
  14. Highly doubt Eclipse is taking over for Equinox in SA. Celebrity did not confirm that this morning and all of the impact routings that would be impacted are still for sale. All of the other impacted itineraries that are shifting have been pulled down.

  17. Not sure yet. The early 2025 South America cruises were removed yesterday. Possibly pulling Infinity from year round Med already? I think there will be a number of announcements in the next few days.
  18. Beginning in late Dec 2024 Equinox will shift from South America to home porting in Port Canaveral. This will change the November 2014 repo that was scheduled from Lisbon to Buenos Aires on Equinox and the 24/24 Equinox South America cruises.   19. I can confirm all of the Equinox 2024/2025 Antarctica cruises were removed from the travel agent itinerary guides yesterday. Med cruises up to the Lisbon to Buenos Aires repo are still posted (Nov 21, 2024). Equinox is now home-ported in Port Canaveral in Dec 2024 through April 2025. The repo Nov 21, 2024 repo will now be Lisbon to Port Canaveral. Summit is now showing overlapping dates with departures from both Fort Lauderdale and San Juan for Jan-April 2025. Constellation still shows Tampa as the homeport from November 2024 to April 2015. Of course that is all TDB. Some additional shuffling around seems all but confirmed.
  20. Yes. Everyone has to have a package. Alcoholic for adults, non-alcoholic for kids. Or everyone has to do the cruise only rate.
  21. So ultimately as I suspected, this is a skewed comparison. For double occupancy the Crystal cruise is still significantly more.
  22. Without context these comparisons are useless. It's like saying you can get a Ford for $70k or a Mercedes for $70k so obviously the Mercedes is better. I'd also be interested in knowing which Crystal itinerary this was. Their few 10 night cruises start at closer to $11k than $6k unless you are talking about a per person price.
  23. Customers are cyclical. That’s to be expected. There’s no sign of saturation right now. Global volume has gone from 12 million passengers in 2003 to almost 30 million in 2019. By 2027 that’s expected to be almost 40 million passengers globally. If that doesn’t pan out almost all of the major operators have aging low yielding ships to retire and reduce capacity.

  25. Jason Liberty was asked about this on the last earnings call Q&A. He answered with mostly word salad but he basically said they are seeing a strong 2023, bookings are exceptional for 2024, mostly driven by Caribbean and particularly itineraries with Coco Cay and they will keep on until something signals otherwise. Side note: it's pretty clear that the new Celebrity brand President was awarded her position partially due to her stellar success record with Perfect Day. They mention Perfect Day 30+ times during the call. Here's what he said: Q: Steve Wieczynski -- Stifel Financial Corp. -- Analyst That's great color. Thanks, guys. And then, second question, you know, as we think about the back half of the year and, you know, obviously, we can back into your yield guidance. But if we kind of break down those yields a little bit, are you assuming, you know, your customer from an onboard has obviously been extremely, extremely healthy? And, you know, are you assuming that your customer kind of stays in the same ballpark that they are now? Do you have them slowing a little bit in terms of spend levels? And then, second part of this question, which is a little bit different, but, you know, we get a lot of questions from investors about, you know, demand and demand into 2024. And can the demand levels that are there right now persist into next year? Or is '23 being -- you know, is '23 benefiting from just still kind of reopening in COVID, you know, bookings and stuff like that? So, hopefully, all that makes sense. A: Jason Liberty -- Chief Executive Officer Yeah, sure. Well, I think -- I think, you know, obviously we don't have a crystal ball. What we know is what we see happening basically every minute of every day. I mean we're -- you know, we're taking tens and tens of thousands of bookings a day. We've got 160,000, 170,000 people spending on our ships. And so, you know, we have a very good idea of, you know, the customer in terms of what's happening today. We also, obviously, do a lot of surveying of our customers in terms of what they're looking to do in the future. And it's obviously clear to us that they are very focused on gathering experiences and creating memories with their friends and family. So, the other point I'll just add is, and this is more on the pre-cruise side and what they're booking on the ship for the future, if that number continues to rise, which also just shows their appetite to spend more and more on nonticket-related spend. So, I think for us, when we think about the back half of this year, our expectation is that we're going to continue to see what we're seeing. However, the mix changes a little bit. You know, Q3, we have a little bit more Europe, we have a little bit less Caribbean. And, of course, you know, you've heard our commentary on the Caribbean is exceptionally strong, which is really what's driving the overall outperformance, while Europe is now very much coming in as we expected for the year. So, I think that probably talked a little bit about how we think about the back half of next year. Now, again, going to demand level for 2024, what we have, again, is what we're seeing day in and day out. And at this point in the year, the customer now -- and, of course, we begin to position ourselves and orient ourselves to 2024 more and more. Certainly, the majority of the bookings we're now taking are focused on 2024. You know, we see very similar strength and acceleration from what we've been seeing close in, as well as what we've been seeing for the bookings for 2023
