  1. Doesn't agree with the Fun times https://www.saintgregtravel.com/carnival-valor-february-6-2023/
  2. Every day for lunch except perhaps embarkation for Ol Fashioned BBQ.
  3. With absolutely no qualifications, I think there are better options than cruise lines. But the shareholder credit is safe, and I don't see the cruise lines folding unless additional catastrophes come along.
  4. The shareholder OBC is at the corporate and not individual cruise line level and is a corporate marketing tool. That some seem to think it is real money proves that it works.
  5. I guess to clarify my statement - they may suspend like they have currently, but they don't touch the shareholder OBC They also suspended the dividend after 9/11. It returned. The current suspension will also pass. When it returns, it will be a token dividend and increase as profits increase.
  6. It's a good thing cruise lines aren't run by armchair admirals. This Princess cruiser sails on other lines, and isn't set in my ways. I adapt to the current cruise line. As for shareholder OBC, it isn't to get people to cruise, it is to get people to spend. It is hard for many to leave money on the table and they will overspend the monopoly money. It is brilliant marketing. Carnival Corp may suspend the stock dividend but I don't recall the shareholder OBC ever being suspended.
  7. Dial up to Honeywell Multics, but probably around 1983.
  8. They do not. Celebrity does, and their casinos are smoke free, but I still don't think much of them.
  9. A passport isn't required to buy a plane ticket to Europe, but they won't let you on the plane.
  10. Columbia is certainly South America and we don't know if the OP has a passport or not. But it isn't Carnival's job to know who needs what travel documents. Requirements are fluid and vary with citizenship.
  11. Even post 9-11 the shareholder OBC remained. Still just 100 shares.
  12. a Carnival brand cruise line. 🙂
  13. and if you don't complete a cruise on MSC within 3 years, they boot you from the program. every 3 years.
  14. Carnival Corp is dual listed in the UK and the US. Neither is the parent of the other.
  15. The world may end before then.
  16. or they may not. Might as well throw darts.
  17. So is the lottery, but people play and occasionally there is a winner.
  18. Caesar salad was available at the pizzeria on Carnival Miracle last month.
  19. Alas the goat cheese pizza is no more, but there is a 4 cheese white pizza that is tasty. the crust is better these days, too.
  20. Been there, down it. Bet the prices have changed, though.
  21. What's the reason for the RCL sell off?
  22. Never met an analyst that had any experience operating a cruise line. Of course, if analysts actually had a crystal ball, they would be former analysts and actively retired.
  23. It's basically a rum punch and likely what waiters will be walking around with the first day. I imagine any bar can make them.
