  1. Thanks you @ijscheerand @AstoriaPreppy. I appreciate the info. We will see if that is who they still use. I looked at their website, but could not find the English translation on my phone. It has been a long time since my high school French days, but I got the idea. Our first food excursion was cancelled and we were going to just tour on our own. We have been to Quebec before, but it has been a long time. When we saw that we will be there over Canadian Thanksgiving we thought it might be wise to book a tour. We will enjoy the sightseeing and hope to find some good ice wine.
  2. Jim, if I may ask a favor. We have signed up for the Beaupre Coast and St Anne Canyon and winery tour for our October 3 sailing. If you have a free moment can you ask at shore excursions which winery is on the schedule. Many thanks and enjoying your wonderful review. Getting excited for our trip.
  3. The cost to upgrade is the difference between classic and premium if you have AI. I believe it is 10-15/day plus gratuity. As to sales, it seems that Celebrity is not yet playing the games with dynamic pricing that Royal does.
  4. On the Equinox, not much as the room sizes are the same. You will get a plusher robe, afternoon snacks (ask to substitute fruit or cheese) and a boarding day lunch, along with more Captain’ Club points per night. You will be on a higher deck. For $141, not a bad deal.
  5. Hi Jim - I am enjoying this review, as always. I know I need to check in daily or I get too far behind. My husband and I are doing the New England /Canada itinerary on the October 3 sailing, the last one for the season so I am looking forward to your visits to those ports. I was wondering about the wine selection on board. I noticed the menus are still showing Inniskillin ice wine for a dessert choice, however when we were on the Millenium in May for the Pacific Coastal there was none onboard. Have they resupplied? We have some spare onboard credit that my be worth splurging on a per glass upcharge.
  6. When you are onboard to activate internet connectivity you set up individual accounts. The internet connectivity is what allows you to use the app or other internet functions the way you do on land. Hope this helps. I am not much of a techie.
  7. Each person has there own account. You set up your login using the folio number from your seapass. You can use the ship wifi for the app without an internet package.
  8. I have been looking at this. Apparently there is a group on board called World of Wings. It appears to be a Pan Am philanthropic group. A guess we have a large group on board if they are getting exclusive shore excursions.
  9. When you go to Murano if Neeraj is still the sommelier you will get the best service. He is hands down the best sommelier we have had on Celebrity. He was in the dining room in October and Murano in March. He pairs expertly with your meal!
