  1. Okay. I put a hold on m108 (my second choice) as I wasn’t sure if my CVP would be able to get my first choice, S310 or if the price for it would be within the range of what we considered reasonable. My CVP did get S310 and the price did fall in the range we’d pay so M108 is going to get released in the next couple of days. My CVP will call me either Thursday or Friday to finalize all my bookings and at that time the M108 will be released. Boy yesterday was a crazy day.
  2. If you’re interested in M108 email me at jacqueline dot faris at yahoo
  3. I’ve been bugging my CVP since I returned from the 2017 total eclipse in Oregon to keep telling anyone at Princess who would listen to make sure they did an eclipse cruise. He really came through on our booking. There’s only 2 of the cabin I wanted on Discovery and he was able to get one for me. We also booked the 3 day cruise before this for a total of 13 days. The next total eclipse in North America is August 12 2045. So who’s going to start the roll call?
  4. Thanks for posting about your cruise. I’m glad things are off to to good start. Bon voyage 🛫
  5. Unless you are talking about the “other” small bowl of yellow on DH plate with the eggs in the glass bowl over cubed potatoes. Yes that is hollandaise. OMG I have to make my own breakfast this morning. My cheerios are not going to taste very satisfying after all this!
  6. It’s whipped butter for the waffles. It’s quite yummy. It tastes like they freshly whipped heavy cream and made it into butter. I always ask for no hollandaise. .
  7. Yes it is. At first I was worried there would be poaching water sogging up the waffle, but the chef was careful. The waffle was crispy and egg was poached perfectly. Also these are real poached eggs in MDR and even club class you get an egg cooked in a cup and they are often cooked either over or under. In specialty dining breakfast I order poached eggs most days and chef sent only perfectly poached eggs.
  8. Vines tends to have a more extensive by the glass offerings. While some wines are only available by the bottle in MDR or other bars, vines might have them by the glass. Nikiara is very good.
  9. Here are some pictures of the Sabatini’s deserts, a special drink called Sorento Sunset and my favorites from the menu. Those lamb skewers are amazing!
  10. Why thank you so much! I always look at the travel summary. Lord only knows. I didn’t ask. Most likely correlated to some loose change he had in an account.
  11. Good point about not requesting prior to final. I never thought about it before. It may be that with the stock being so low for such a long time there are more stockholder requests than they anticipated or geared up for. I know my DH just bought his 300 shares so he could get his OBC for his Sept solo cabin sailing.
  12. These are the wine menus from Vines on the current Crown Alaska sailing.
  13. It’s easy to see this credit. All of your OBC is listed on the travel summary. In one place all together. Now if they would indicate refundable vs non refundable I’d be super happy. I submitted a shareholders request through email July 25th and received it today 10 days later. I ccd my CVP but I have no idea if that helped or not.
  14. Every time I’ve ordered pizza it’s been $3 per pizza. It’s actually quite good too! @Speedbird01 I’m amazed all those lines charge for room service! On Princess pretty much everything you’d want or need is free. I think the menu is more than adequate. I love the chicken fingers and quesadillas on the children's menu. The guacamole and chips are now free too and it’s good! I love the wide variety of salads( they are small so I order 2). I’ve called room service from a standard balcony room and had pretty much anything I’ve wanted. Made to order omelets with sausage, bacon and hash browns for breakfast. Customized salads, customized fruit bowls. They are so sweet! I usually give the delivery person a dollar or 2 and a small individually wrapped chocolate (the darker the better seems to be the crew fav) if they want it. My nephew and his wife ordered one of every dessert one night after midnight. Lol. They are younger and it was their first cruise. I’ve been known to eat chocolate cake or cheesecake with a late movie occasionally.
  15. Whispering Angel is a lovely dry rose. It used to be included in the Plus package but now sadly is $14. It’s nice that it’s still onboard though! I do hope they get the supply of wines sorted out and get a reliable supply. Thanks for reporting back!
  16. Agreed that all wines are subject to change from week to week. By not naming them on the menu for plus they can pour whatever is handy. I’ve got a couple of sailings soon both with and without plus. It’ll be interesting. I’m a white wine drinker. I noticed a drastic decline in choices for me (non chards) since January. I’ll be bringing some favorites on and picking some up in ports.
  17. The owners suite on the Grand has a dining room table. These pictures and videos are from Oct 2021. While the room was much larger than the vista thru penthouse suites the bathrooms in all suites are the same. (Lovely) The balcony on this particular suite is not my favorite in the fleet as it is not nearly deep enough for my tastes. 73E69DE5-900E-46FF-9D2A-4A6D6CC0AA15.MOV 12A6A587-C15F-48C0-97DD-CDD006348DA5.MOV
  18. I use a Princess cruise vacation planner. He alleviates all of the issues you’ve had. I NEVER wait on hold. I ALWAYS get a call back from him within a timeframe that allows expedited resolution to my concerns. If you connect with others on board, perhaps thru a roll call, you might get the name of a CVP that could help you. While I use a smart phone I am certain he is more than capable of effectively working with someone who doesn’t.
  19. These are the ones they had to pour that are included with the plus package. Or so my friend was told by the bartender. I’m not certain it’s entirely correct as that Silverado cab is listed on the premier side of the menu for $17. I’m sure everyone is busy and having fun so I’ll take it as an approximation of what’s there for plus. I noticed there’s no whites. He asked the bartender for all the wines included in plus and that’s what he was shown. it looks like they are just clearing out odd bits and bobs of inventory.
  20. This is the Crooners wine menu on the Crown this evening. A friend was nice enough to send it to me.
  21. while that link is in my favorites and I can see the cabins there I discovered the link doesn’t work in the post. try this Follow the path to your Princess ship https://www.cruisedeckplans.com/
  22. I’ve parked there multiple times since the restart and have never had any issues. It is extremely convenient. here’s a link to Renmars page. It has pictures of almost all the obstructed views. https://sites.google.com/site/cabinviewbyrenmar/crown-princess/cabins301--330
  23. In a full suite you can call room service and ask for anything as long as it’s on the ship. I have never been told no. The service and ambiance in the specialty dining breakfast is beyond compare and I simply suggest you go once at the beginning of your cruise before deciding to eat in your cabin. It is nothing at all like MDR or even specialty dining at dinner. I always customize my fruit bowl in my cabin. And they are really good about sending only the best fruit on board. Once my DH mentioned he liked Nutella crepes. Well our server found Nutella on board and had some made for him. My DH didn’t request them but was delighted to get them. This is how eager and willing the staff in the suite breakfast restaurant are to please.
