  1. Yes. If you can handle your own luggage, it's the way to go. You're off quickly; no waiting around in a lounge somewhere waiting for your turn.
  2. Sorry to hear of your problem. If you can't find a phone number for MSC there in Dubai, you could try calling MSC in the United States during U.S. daytime hours at (1) 833-506-6059 or (1) (954) 772-6262. I don't know if they will allow you to switch dates.
  3. Except for Yacht Club getting priority, tender numbers are assigned in the order you go to pickup your tender ticket. From my last visit, this was in the Daily Program: "Disembarkation will be via continuous tender service from ship to shore and vice versa. To use this complimentary service, pick up your tender ticket in the Casino Bar, deck 7, from 6:45am." It's really not that big of a deal. If you want to get off the ship early, pickup your tender tickets early. If you want to get off late morning or early afternoon, get your tender tickets later.
  4. When I last used T10 in September for a MSC cruise, payment was made before entering the garage. Made it much easier at departure time; no queues.
  5. Port of Palm Beach is closed today and the Margaritaville at Sea Paradise sailing for this afternoon is cancelled. I would be most concerned with port closures tomorrow (Saturday) than localized flooding. Weather should clear-out by Sunday. You should stay in close touch with your cruise line if you're sailing on Saturday.
  6. Download the free Mobil Passport App (CBP MPC) and then "send" all your information to Immigration prior to getting off the ship. It's valid at Port Miami.
  7. Can you call EasyJet and see if they'll provide you the record locator?
  8. Not to worry about the document you signed. My wife and I voluntarily left a MSC cruise early a few years ago. The form just says you're leaving the cruise early of your own volition and the cruise line is not responsible for any refund or damages of the unused portion of the cruise.
  9. The port schedule also lists terminal assignments. But you can't go wrong; the terminals are side-by-side next to each other. Just look for your ship when you arrive in the port area. https://www.porttb.com/cruise-schedules
  10. I haven't seen any port times anywhere for their new ship. Key West is likely an early arrival and early departure.
  11. Just off Euribia in Europe and received a copy in my stateroom on the final night. On Seaside in September out of Florida, no copy delivered. Please be aware that those same kiosks used to register your credit card to your account at the beginning of the cruise can be used to get a printout of your account at any point during the cruise.
  12. You will have no problem getting a taxi or rideshare at Port Miami. With a rideshare you might have to wait a bit for your ride to get assigned and to drive to you. If you're in a hurry, just take a regular taxi which are already lined-up outside each terminal.
  13. Tri-Rail is the best, most cost-effective option to get from PEV to MIA. Sundays have fewer trains than during the week.
  14. Every garage I've ever parked in at Port Miami has payment upon leaving. I see in the link posted above that Garage J has prepaid parking but that's an exception.
  15. I was on Euribia for a week beginning December 1st and I don't know what system they had operating, but it was VERY fast. I had to upload pics for a Blog that I write and there were no delays in getting photos uploaded. I did have the upgraded Browse & Stream package.
  16. As a general rule, never select a cabin with any public areas above or below it. For myself at least, there has to be cabins above and below me.
  17. Thanks. Probably passed by you at some point, lol. Yes, if I see you, will definitely say hi.
  18. Interesting reading your viewpoints since I'm onboard too. Our cabin is midship so really have not noticed any movement of the ship whatsoever. Since I run a nightclub based website back in Orlando, my perspective on cruises is always based on the ship's nightlife entertainment more than the food or shows. Thus, for anyone interested, here are links to the first two nights on board. Night 1 including the White Party: https://www.orlandoentertainmentnews.com/?p=25466 Night 2: https://www.orlandoentertainmentnews.com/?p=25502 As one might expect this time of the year, a mostly-older crowd on board but a surprising number of infants/young children too.
  19. Correct, the stations are lined-up in succession like a cafeteria but each has its own line or no line at all. For instance, there's rarely a line at the dessert station or bread station. As for the seats, my wife and I typically grab a dinner plate and silverware and find an empty table and then place it there. We then go back and get our food, knowing we've got a spot saved. The buffet is crazy busy on Embarkation Day lunch when that's where everyone goes. Lunch on sea days can be packed too. But otherwise, there's plenty of seating.
  20. Sure you can. While the various food types don't have their own kiosks like RCI has, there are a continuous series of food stations all lined up cafeteria style. If you don't want food from the carvery but you do spot something you want at the Ethnic station, just get in line at that station. You can work your way around to each station and then move on to the next. Some won't have any queues. Food choices on the left side of the buffet (as you enter) typically are the same on the right side. And aft, where the two sides connect, you may find repeats of what was on the L & R sides but fewer people are aware of it.
  21. Not that I recall. Just parking spaces and elevators.
  22. There are some 3nt cruises that only go to Ocean Cay and they typically overnight there and then depart around Noon the second day for a day at sea.
  23. I was surprised there was no mention of a second dock.
  24. What about an extension cord that plugs into the wall on the ship at one end and has 2-3 outlets at the other end? Do you think that is allowed?
  25. And why is that? Seems like a cord with surge protection would be safer for the ship than one without it.
