  1. How many were in the inside cabin to begin with? Was there at least one 21 yr old on the cabin (at least on the reservation for that stateroom)? The only thing I can think of is you had 3+ in the inside room and planning to shift people around once on board. The room only supports double occupancy so you got shifted. I'd argue that they could change the named passengers for the inside to two names, move the additional people to one of your balcony rooms, and consider this a wash for all involved (unless your balcony rooms are also at capacity).
  2. I'm setting the Over/Under at 6,000 pax. I'm taking the Over. School's out and the kids are ready to party!
  3. My Player 2 doesn't have it either. We both used it last time and I confirmed that was Dec 18, 2021. Dang really would love to get it again. There's not shortage of invoices I could pay on. Nothing in the fine print would exclude a payment on an invoice as it doesn't specifically say "new bookings only" which is nice.
  4. Are you the first ship to arrive that day? If another ship gets in before you, you'll have less of the "choice" seating. It's a big playground, so if at first you don't find what you want, you may have to hoof to another one of the beaches. **edit** based on your signature, you're on one of two sailings, and both will be in Coco Cay alone.. So this won't be an issue for you. But I'll leave it for others to consider.
  5. Why is this a thing? Is it passenger capacity or physical size of ship? The entrance to Havana Harbor has a tunnel instead of a bridge, so clearance wouldn't be an issue. The 4 Radiance ships should all be fine regardless, as Scarlet Lady was originally going to cruise to Havana; at 110,000 tons, 909 feet, and 2,770 pax she's similar to the Radiance Class (slightly shorter but heavier, + more pax).
  6. For those of you seeing the offer today, have you used the Royal Caribbean Amex offer recently? I used it about 6-8 months ago. I'm not seeing the offer now so wondering if I'm ineligible?
  7. Ok I had my coffee and did some reading. https://www.royalcaribbean.com/faq/questions/if-i-test-positive-for-sars-cov-2-what-is-your-refund-policy-and-costs-covered Answers my question I suppose!
  8. Ok thank you. I agree they wouldn't want me onboard with Covid, and also feel if they had a "touch luck" attitude toward the 48 Positive test, there would be a huge decrease in bookings.
  9. If I understand the language, cruises booked after March 31 are not eligible for cruise w/ confidence. I booked a cruise today, it's for Sep 4 2022. We are still required to test 2 days before the cruise. If we test positive 2 days before the cruise, we aren't allowed to go on the cruise - but without the Cruise w/ confidence program, am I on the hook for the cost of the cruise? Or is there still language somewhere that says we'd get FCC or something? It seems extremely high risk now to book a cruise where mandatory testing may sideline you, even if one party member tests positive.
  10. Looking for folks who have changed their sail date and held an NRD reservation with change fee. According to Royal, there's a $100 fee to change, per person. There's also the possibility that you'd pay the difference in cruise fare if the new booking is higher. The question I have is: If you want to change (not cancel) a reservation, do they just move you to the new sailing without refunding and re-charging your payment methods, or will they refund the payment method and then charge you again? Reason for asking, we took advantage of several Amex Offers to receive cashback on a cruise in 2023, and now want to change the sail date because flights that week are $850/person r/t! We can move to another date where flights are $450/person r/t and still save $600 per cabin after paying a change fee (two cabins = the $1,200 question I'm asking) If they treat it as a cancel and refund our Amex, we'll forfeit the cashback offers and won't be able to use them. My agent for this booking is kind of hard to get a hold of these days so thought I'd ask here before beginning any such process. TYIA.
