I sometimes ask our waiter for his opinion but the one we have this trip says everything is good.
It's been hit or miss in the DR although the misses haven't been terrible.
We always eat dinner early and the event took place at 6:45 pm. We arrived just before the capt. gave his talk & they began talking pictures.
We didn't stay for long as we wanted to get to the main show to get seats.

We already switched everything for wine but I'll inquire about other switches on the Enchanted, if I can get through to ask a question. This cruise is packed and everything is bogged down
I really believe that the reason is strictly monetary. They can attract more people by implying it's dressy and turning their heads to the other people who prefer casual.
Just in case you see this comment you'll be happy to hear that people seem to be dressing up a little more lately. Although still not mandatory, I observed a greater number than usual the other formal evening.
In the past 15 days I've only see 3 or 4 people using the wash sinks.
BUT there are just loads of people standing thoughtout the buffet eating with their fingers. I've never seen so many.
Lots of newbies on our trip.
I believe this is partly due to the ships sailing at full capacity. Many of our orders (desserts) have taken 30 plus minutes to arrive while some have even been cancelled automatically.
They're doing their best to help out the kitchen staff. I've had head waiters go out of their way at lunch to check on the progress.
