True, but maybe they though 30% was gradual. 😄
As long as they don't drive customers to other cruise lines in the process. Once you lose a dedicated customer, they're usually gone for good.
The times we take tours, we book directly with the owners and have always paid less.
The only time we feel pressured to use Princess tour might be is when there might be a considerable distance traveling to the attraction and in the Caribbean that's usually not the case.
I just send in extra money to cover all my future charges.
As long as there's a positive balance you're good the future months with out having to worry about a penalty.
We have never brought any addition clothing on a Princess cruise for any of those "special" nights. It has never been required and doubtfully never will. Dress up in a costume if you like but no one will even notice.
Since those chairs are sold at a premium and the demand is so high, they should at least double the price to curtail the crowd from booking them. Princess is missing out an a chance to make more profits.
As do we. If people really want those chairs, they will pay the price, no matter what the charge.
I just send in enough money before I leave to cover any of the charges when I'm away.
If there are any fraudulent charges I can deal with them when I get back. I doubt if they wouldn't let you dispute them as soon as you return.
No. I think they just about abandoned using crew members to dedicate the time to sit there. Even at the ports we visited there was a guy there but had nothing logged in his check in sheet.
Money is money no matter how you look at it unless you consider OBC as someone else's money. Princess has never known to have the most economically priced excursions.
Maybe they can increase their prices a little more so you can feel even better. 😄
Hoe quickly people forget and I give myself at least a 50% discount every time I book an excursion with an outside vendor.
btw- we always see the same Princess people on our tours anyway.
People have already forgotten about the loss of the $100 loyalty OB credit and the coffee trade in will be soon to follow. 🤒
