I'll have to avoid buying my gas in Ft Lauderdale next cruise ... not that their prices were anything great to begin with.

We've never been questioned about our Rum Runners either and I suspect that since many people are buying the liquor packages lately, they'll be less & less of them being brought on the ships.

It appears that most of the items that other cruise lines charge extra for I don't really use. i.e.- room service, addl. items at dinner, can do without Wi-Fi, limited specialty dining. I guess I'll just have to weigh the added costs for addl. on Princess to the total bill and judge for myself if the new Princess experience is worth the money.

Although we dislike the Caribbean Princess for other reasons, it could have occurred on any ship.

It happens more often than than people will admit and not really that hard to do. Just don't pack a full bottle in you luggage and you'll be fine.

I really can't say as it's been years since we've sailed other cruise lines. Perhaps others that have recently sailed on RCL, HAL or NCL can chime in.

And they will find them, no doubt. The real question is how many people will accept this as normal before they leave for other cruise lines.

I'm reading that sensitivity to loud noise is common among the elderly and since many older people sail on Princess you would think that they could be more accommodating and adjust the volume accordingly. -

I didn't realize that. Perhaps it might limit children at night except when used as a PE lounge. Let us know how it works out.

I wonder if they've ever had any one complaining that it wasn't loud enough? 🤪 I always resort to using tissues on mu ears. -
You would think that with the introduction of the medallion that would no longer be a problem since that could round up the violators fairly quickly.

Since most people aren't going to get the chance to experience the 360 you might as well see what it's all about anyway... at least until they begin charging for it.

In Feb we used to stop by the Salty Dog for 2 glasses of wine each night to carry to dinner & I believe they were those Reidel glasses they used. We didn't even stay to drink any and not a word was said when we left. We neve returned any to the bar.

They had ginger bear on the Enchanted. My husband would sometimes stop for a glass on the way to the DR.

We haven't been on Celebrity in many years so I can't comment about dressing. I do see that things are very similar to Princess in many respects and dressing is pretty much left up to the individual to decide.
