Suppose I only order 4 drinks per day with the plus package and since I've prepaid with the package plan for the whole cruise and gratuities for 15 drinks are already included, how are the gratuities for my unordered drinks distributed among the crew? Since Princess didn't have to serve those unorder drinks is it possible that they just keep those gratuities?

That was my thinking all along. Possibly a visual alert to wake deaf people by flashing if they chose to have a wake up alarm.

Are jeans acceptable in the main dining room during an Alaska cruise?

Jeans have long been acceptable on any Princess cruise for many years and lately even on formal nights (think black) in the DR. I would be more concerned about bringing clothing more suited for wet weather. -

It really is disappointing about all the loyalty items that they've abandoned. It's like they've turned their backs on their most loyal customers while at the Capt. repeaters party they like to boost about how happy they are to welcome everyone back again.... and say it with a straight face.

Not exactly a glowing report. I can put up with a lot of problems but when it affects the DR, it get's my attention. -
Blue painters tape can be removed without any residue whatsoever, even after a month.

If the crew didn't do it, I would. They should post a sign letting people know that.

That is correct. I typically use a news channel but last cruise it still didn't give the option to choose HDMI, only USB.

Yes, they will discontinue your drink package if caught sharing with others. After talking with one of the bartenders about it, he just laughed and proceeded to get my two drinks. Of course one was for me & the other was for the husband.

I suspect a lot of the smell has to do with the direction of the wind- if it's being blown back into the air discharge ducts or not.

I'm glad they chose one of the older ships to dedicate for Galveston and not one of the newer Royal class ships. -

We usually order 2 drinks at a time during the day by the pool, They're already getting around a $5 tip included (18%) which we feel is adequate. If you feel that they deserve more then by all means include additional.

Just about anywhere is cheaper than Ca. It's risen in SW Florida also and we all know the reason.

They seem to be doing just fine selling the plus package. On our last cruise many of them shared openly with their friends during trivia almost every night. 😄
