Just over half hour for pager to go off. Chic night is probably a little busier. I think I am going to go for an app.

I missed pasta on the menu but can get behind adding lobster to pasta.
Sorry, risotto which you are correct is not a pasta. I'm delirious after not eating for nearly four hours.

Well don’t let being full hold you back from ordering or we will all be disappointed.
Prepare for disappointment 😆. Skipping an appetizer and probably only one dessert. I may throw a lobster tail on my pasta if the mood strikes me.

They had it on the Ascent cruise out of FLL over Christmas in the retreat lounge during tea time. Perhaps the authorities shut them down.
Interesting as from what I've read it's not available for sale except direct from small farms in certain states and never across state lines. So if Florida is one of them, it is quite expensive to purchase since only small farms cam sell it (and could a small farm source a cruise ship?). Perhaps they were just labeling it clotted cream. Or perhaps my Uncle Google is wrong?
I can't say I was unhappy with the whipped cream, still tasty and I am still full at dinner time.

We won’t blame Celeb for the deficient plating. But the bread things are too big to count as teatime sandwiches. Now whisper it: there have been many complaints that Cunard serves whipped not clotted cream. Have you a separate cake plate?Upon further talks with my wise Uncle Google, I have learned clotted cream is not leagle in the US. So at least sailing from a US port whipped cream it is I guess.
Funny the things the FDA allows in our foods but clotted cream is a no no.

Yum! I may have to make one myself. Never heard of it
I vaguely recall seeing something similar once at Cafe Promenade just on the little round buns they use. I could be mistaken but I've seen something similar somewhere. It was very tasty.

Beetroot sandwich looks interesting. Please let us know how it is
Very tasty. The bread to filling ratio looked off but it was not. It had cream cheese on it and it paired very nicely with the beet.

Not sure I would know if they told me it was clotted cream if they were being truthful or not 😆.
No cakes, just the apricot belinger because I wanted to stay away from things that looked like they could be part of the regular buffet. The plan worked well.

The pound cake looks like the same ones they had in the Al Bacon display. I wonder if they swiped a few from the cart this morning?
Serves them right for not providing security.

I'm trying to taper my mom's expectations. This is not going to be anything like Cunard’s tea time but I hope it's at least better than Carnival's. Besides, until I have seen sufficient evidence they can match the salt and pepper, I can't book them no matter how lovely the food.
