Went for buffet.

+1.2 lbs. Here comes the inevitable backwards progress. Ignore the miles. I had GPS tracking turned on when I walked because it was the only way to capture how many steps I took during my walk without comparing the total before and after. With GPS on it counts the ships movement as part of my miles traveled so its inflated now.

Oh dang that is brutal. That is such an under paid under appreciated profession. And you can only travel during school breaks ouch. Bless you, you are a Saint.

Same. But we are docked. Just docked outside the main town as the ship is too large. To get to town, we board a boat that shuttles us...by water. Its complimentary so not sure water taxi would work. I think this might be OK to call a water shuttle 🤔. If I'm reading it correctly, I still can't wear shorts in there after 6. Am I mistaken? That would be a great choice.

Good morning. Going to grab some breakfast and head ashore for some exploring. Debating if I want to brave the buffet again for a quick bite or head to the MDR.

Tomorrow we are in Toulon, France. The plan after I do some port side shopping with my mom is to take the free water shuttle (that's the right word in this case, it's not a tender lol) into town and explore on foot. We dock at 7 and although I don't plan to be up that early I hope to sleep at a reasonable time tonight so I'm going to go ahead and unwind. See everyone tomorrow from Toulon.

Combination of Self employed able to work remotely and when I'm not on the seas I have a friend who owns a business whom I work for. She is very accommodating of my lifestyle.

Dinner was OK. Glad we won't have to dine here too often for dinner. We've ordered a pizza for a late night snack since we know we will be hungry later. Sun is setting and I'm off to do my walk.

They don't use the virtual queue either. I asked two different people if I need to just line up because they never check me in from tje virtual queue and they both gave a vague answer that did not apply to what I was asking. The line has been quick so far but I can't understand why it's an option if they don't use it. It's the opposite of Carnival that practically bullies you into checking in on the app.

It's Lido for dinner tonight. The theme is Spanish which is about our least favorite style of food but it's our only option if we don't want to dress up.

Lovely and quiet room with everyone in there reading or sitting quietly and a group of four come in and sit near me who want to chat chat. They weren't doing anything wrong. They weren't loud or vulgar, I just wish I could find a quiet place to sit in public to enjoy my coffee and catch up on my cruise news. I'm not a fan of balcony rooms they don't cool down as well and are hard to keep dark but I could go for my own balcony. Except in the summer when it's too hot, then I need my private quiet place to be indoors. Anyway I'm at the theater now for matinee showtime of Classic! The description is a reenactment of classic stories condensed into five minutes in humorous ways. Sounds different...maybe too cultured for me but I will give it a try.

Moved to the commodore club. The space reminds me of the viking club lounge on Royal Caribbean. Sitting in the back corner on a nice comfy couch. There is soft music piped in. I was really over the loud music being turned all the way up on Freedom. There was simply no indoor space to escape the noise.

They don't have Frappuccinos here just iced coffee. I tried making my own to be extra frugal but I've either got to tweak my recipe or just buy the good stuff, this isn't quite cutting it. Just tastes like cold coffee.

Another slam dunk. Piping hot with a fantastic flavor. For dessert I got the Brownie and banofee pie. And my mom got the lemon mousse And cappuccino
