  1. I just booked this for the first leg of my b2b in April. I had the deluxe drink package and one voom device booked. I rebooked the drink package and the pass and it came $20 cheaper. It will be nice to have the extra device internet and the free laundry.
  2. I’m sure they’ll charge for it too. They would just call it an excursion. 🤣🤣
  3. We have stayed at Margaritaville in Hollywood, FL multiple times and loved it. It is my favorite hotel in the area. It is on the Broadwalk. Super fun atmosphere with easy beach access.
  4. I say do what makes you happy. If you think you’ll find enjoyment doing a live you should do it. If you start it and find it is degrading your cruise experience then stop. I think I’m gonna do a live next month but if I’m not enjoying it I’ll just abandon. It is your vacation so just make sure YOU enjoy it. Happy cruising!
  5. This is so true. I don’t use a lot of cash anymore but back in the day I’d empty all the coins from my purse prior to going anywhere that had a security checkpoint. The machine can’t see through the density of the coins. Automatic search every time.
  6. I’m pretty sure the stateroom attendant would just deal with it. 🤣🤣
  7. I’m on two Oasis cruises in April. They both had reservations open at the same time. I received the email a couple days AFTER they were available to book. I would follow the roll calls for all your ships sailings in June. People will start posting about it when they see it available. It was more than 30 days out for both my cruises.
  8. I don’t understand why you would waste your time calling. That is a possibility you sign up for when booking a guarantee. It is a roll of the dice.
  9. Do you question these things when you go out to eat? Do you ask the kitchen staff if they are getting some of the tip? Do you then try to exclude the kitchen staff cause you don’t like the food? See how ridiculous it all sounds? Tip when you are happy and leave the rest for them to worry about.
  10. This was the opposite of our experience. Those things go pretty fast. We didn’t see a whole lot of cars. We actually accidentally did the loop going the wrong way. It was never a problem. We just pulled over when a vehicle was coming. This was one of my favorite days we have had in port. Our whole group loved it. We went out with 6 people in two 4 seat carts.
  11. I think you have to go to the website. Folks have reported the app not working. I got an email today for mine but the links in it don’t work (shocking). I have 2 cruises on Oasis in April and they both had reservations open up this past Friday or Saturday. I was able to book my reservations.
  12. I’d call NCL’s offer false advertising. We still paid a few hundred in gratuities and fees. Then we realized we would still need to upgrade to premium plus to get the drinks we would want. Ends up being just as expensive as just buying the deluxe package from Royal.
  13. Once you add it to your cart the total there includes gratuities.
  14. It has been several years but the roughest seas that I recall while cruising was doing the Mexican riviera route.
  15. I haven’t cruised Carnival in several years. I recall finding them pretty similar unless you are on a party cruise (shorter itinerary/school break). I was curious about them recently and was considering booking one. The daily drink limit makes it a non-starter for me though.
  16. I don’t understand why so much energy is invested in this topic. You are on vacation. Tip the suggested amount and enjoy yourself. Seems silly to worry about how it is distributed.
  17. What makes or breaks a cruise for you? What do you find most important? Is it food, price, entertainment, ports, ship, service, atmosphere, or demographic? Which cruise lines and ships offer your must haves?
  18. We did a cabana by the water a few years ago. If I were traveling in a group of 6 or more I would consider this. The prices have increased substantially though to the point of ridiculous. If you have the funds it is definitely nice to have. It gives you a main place to hang out and you don’t need to try to find good seats near each other. You also don’t all have to get off the ship together at the same time since you will know where everyone is going. The drink and food service is nice. Guaranteed shade is always a winner. Enjoy!
  19. I’m personally not a fan of Johnny Rockets. I think it gives the ship a cheap vibe. They just don’t have great food. It is like the sit down version of Sonic.
  20. Usually missing my fur baby by then and ready to go home.
  21. They have some Indian selections in the WJ and on the new menu in MDR. I’ve seen it mentioned in a lot of recent reviews and the comments have been positive.
  22. The current policy isn’t tied to a testing requirement. I can still get a refund currently even if my cruise doesn’t require a negative test to travel.
