I was just trying to be helpful to those who maybe don’t know how, or don’t have the smartphone/computer programs to check. Even Chengkp75 said on a different thread that he trusted CruiseMapper the least, and at least Marine Traffic (not everyone has a subscription) gets very frequent updates via satellite of a ship’s positions. But, if it bothers you that much, I will stop.
Sorry it has become such a problem.
😎
And the survey says,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Keep up the position updates!!

Also, I was told that the forward cabins on quantum class ships feel a bit more bouncy in rough seas due to ship design.

I am in 13118 on the opposite side for thanksgiving, I have heard it is very nice as there is a door right there into the solarium allowing access to the upper deck and close to the bistro.
I believe there is a door on your side also.
I booked this room because of the access to the solarium which we love!!
view forward will be somewhat obstructed but noise at night should be minimal.

Thank you. We purposely selected our cabin for its proximity to the “secret” door leading to the Solarium. Breakfast there is quiet but very good.
Us too,
Shhhhhh,

I watched the web cam as you pulled away from Nassau today.
What a gorgeous vessel!!!

Anyone know the cruise director?
What about the house band?
-
Couple questions which may have been answered elsewhere but I cannot find.
Now that she's back in the US is there a new cruise director?
Is there a house band?
I see some Beatles stuff in the compass but will that be the band for the next few weeks?
Thanks

I just signed up for my Thanksgiving cruise and re posted on the roll call!

Book and go! no reason to wait anymore, safest place to be with testing and vaccine protocols.
Leaving in 26 days and could not be more excited to be on a ship with lowered capacity!

Was doing mock booking last night and only available rooms seemed to be far astern on both sides, thought that these might be Good for us but wondered why they were the last ones left as if there was something wrong in those areas.
-
Aft balcony rooms don't seem to have anything over them per deck plans, is this the case? I see the pool and flow rider are there but that should not be noisy at night.

Looking at itineraries for Oasis out of bayonne this summer, I always like to get an idea about the best room locations pre booking. Deck plans don't seem to have any obvious hidden gems. We generally like the upper decks on Anthem because of easy access to pool decks and WJ plus solarium.Only other ship we were on was Enchantment where we had an interior room.

I feel that as a cruising community we have been exposed to the washing of hands, not touching railings, door knobs, straws, remotes, or anything else without sanitizing the heck out of it.
Don't touch your face, avoid full elevators, all of this is second nature to us due to our experience with crowded places and the possibility of unclean persons in our near vicinity!
I am thankful in these times that I have learned these lessons before the rest of the population even realized that it was a thing!
. Thank Heavens for the cruising industry and the education they have provided for us!!
I work in an essential company producing food and have a sense that I know what is important more than those around me that have received training on how to handle food and everyday hygienics!
I will simply visualize myself walking up the gangway entering the ANTHEM OF THE SEAS when I get my sail away pass validated and everything is going to be easy sailing!
Gonna have talk to the plant manager about the opening of the bionic bar!

Sailing radiance Hawaii to Vancouver on may 5th, already have everything booked and paid for except final payment on oahu accommodations, that payment is due by the end of this month. probably wont know about the fate of this cruise officially until mid april. I will probably still cough the 700 bucks up for the condo since I WANT TO GO!!

We cruise in May and wonder if I should cancel with this virus spreading, anyone else thinking the same thing?
We are also cruising from hawaii on the radiance on the 5th.Have been on anthem out of jersey a few times, same class as ovation that you are on. I am concerned about the sailing considering the part of the world where these ships are coming from but I would be re assured cruising on the quantam class ship, really clean and required to washy washy entering windjammer and all that! They are really conscious of communicable stuff these days and designing the ships with that in mind. Another plus for these sailings is that there wont be many children aboard spreading who knows what who knows where. We are not cancelling and are looking forward to a fantastic time on this great itinerary. I hope you can enjoy this trip!!!!

When you check out you only select one passenger when purchasing a 2 device package. you share the login with two people. if you add a two device package to your cart and then select two passengers you are actually buy two two device packages for a total of four devices. @$15.99 for a 2 device package your price for 7 day cruise should be $112.
EDIT: If your price is coming out to 319 I'm suspecting that you are some how purchasing three two device packages. Multi device packages are always the cheapest way to go per device.
Thanks, You are exactly right, I was peeling apples to make pies and I realized my mistake. sometimes the head spins so much in trying to figure out royals math I lose all common sense!

You, you can buy multiple One Device packages.
So why would anybody buy a multiple device package at 3 times the price??
-
Thanks Biker, just thought it would be nice if the wife could have her own so we could text each other on the ship, not happening at that price.
-
So, just looking at the internet sale for my booking. One device voom is 9.99, 2 device is 15.99, when going to check out it is 15.99 per person per day for a total of $319. one device is $99.99, why would they charge an extra $5 to add a device, cant I just buy the one device twice?

We haven't sailed Serenade but have found the windjammer coffee to be underwhelming, however the coffee served in the main dining rooms is super strong and we like strong also. To get a great cup you can always grab a cup at whatever specialty shop is on board for a charge. I'm on a cruise and lovin it so why not enjoy something special when you want?

First cruise ever was a quince cruise on enchantment, made us uncomfortable most of the time, had never even heard of the tradition before this and I couldn't figure out why in the world all these young teen strippers (sorry but that is the only other time I have seen females dress like that) would be on a cruise ship. My wife explained it to me and I was still confused. How could a culture support this behavior and lewdness from such young ladies. Obviously something that has evolved far from what the initial intention of the celebration was. Luckily we had a fantastic time, being our first ever time on a cruise and being in such awe of the cruising experience itself. avoid ladies rooms, you could wait hours, look straight at the floor at all times, do not look up! you aren't supposed to see that.
Enjoy your cruise, escape the crowds as much as you can and feel free to raise your eyes out the window and enjoy the ocean views!

We are going in February. How cold is that water going to be?
Was there this last February and spent the whole day in the water at the beach, pool and water park weren't open yet but I would think they would be pleasant.
